摘要: The various conveying embodiments disclosed are directed to systems, methods and components enabling extendible conveying mechanisms to reach into trailers and storage containers so that operators may safely and ergonomically load and unload objects such as packages, etc. The disclosed embodiments include a modular driving apparatus suitable for driving an extendible conveyor as well as supporting and moving an associated interface conveyor and configurable (e.g., width and height) operator platform. Also disclosed is a telescoping, bi-directional conveyor embodiment and a movable conveyor interface.

摘要: A caster wheel alignment system for selectively re-orienting improperly oriented caster wheels for transport vehicles of a conveyor system, such as a circular sorter. The alignment system includes a main support frame couplable with the conveyor at a drive track of the conveyor. The system includes a horizontal cam for adjusting an orientation of the caster wheel from a leading orientation to a trailing orientation. In some forms, the alignment system may include a bypass system, such as a float frame, supporting the horizontal cam, and a vertical cam. The vertical cam provided to temporarily move the float frame and horizontal cam away from the transport vehicle and/or drive track to permit the vehicle to move through the alignment system. The vertical and horizontal cams coordinate to intercept and correct improperly oriented wheels without significantly impeding the movement of the transport vehicle along the drive track.

摘要: A buffering device comprises a frame and a conveyor belt, a supply station, a discharge station, a first reversing member reverses the conveying direction of the conveyor belt, and a return guide includes a second reversing member. The buffering device is configured such that the conveyor belt moves from the supply station via the first reversing member to the discharge station, after which the conveyor belt is guided back to the supply station via the return guide. A portion of the conveyor belt n forms a buffer section of which the length varies. The remaining portion of the conveyor belt forms a compensation section for compensating a change of length of the buffer section during simultaneous displacement of the first and second reversing members with respect to the frame. The first reversing member includes a buffer carriage for radially guiding the conveyor belt, which guide is fixed to the carriage.

摘要: A construction machine is provided. The machine includes a frame and a power source mounted on the frame. The machine also includes a milling drum configured to be driven by the power source. The machine further includes a conveyor mounted on the frame. The conveyer includes a first conveyor portion having a first end and a second end. The first end is mounted on the frame. The conveyer also includes a second conveyor portion having a third end and a fourth end. The third end is mounted on the second end of the first conveyor portion. The second conveyor portion is configured to move between a working position and a stowed position. The conveyer further includes a magnet member secured to one of the first and second conveyor portion. The magnet member is configured to couple the second conveyor portion to the first conveyor portion in the stowed position.

摘要: Sorting items are loaded into, or unloaded from, a transport volume. A transport volume-side end of a telescopic conveyor is telescoped into the transport volume to reach a suitable loading position. Then the sorting items are transported into the transport volume or unloaded and transported out of the transport volume. The position of the volume-side end of the conveyor is adjusted as a function of the ongoing loading or unloading state. The adjusted position is acquired by way of a control unit. The expected residual loading or unloading time remaining for the transport volume is determined on the basis of the acquired adjusted position and, optionally, the time profile of the process. The adjusted position may be determined from a rotational speed and/or an activation duration of the drive motor that adjusts the telescopic conveyor.

摘要: Drive systems for extendible conveyors are disclosed. An example conveyor includes a major conveyor section mountable to the support surface, an intermediate conveyor section, and a distal conveyor section. A motor is located on the distal conveyor section. A linear actuator is to couple the distal frame to the intermediate frame. The linear actuator to be driven by the motor to move the distal frame in translation relative to the intermediate frame. In response to the motor moving the distal frame in translation relative to the intermediate frame, the intermediate conveyor section and the distal conveyor section are to move at least sometimes simultaneously in the forward direction as the conveyor moves from the fully retracted position to the fully extended position.
