Abstract:
A seat belt buckle for seat belts has a housing, an opening for inserting a seat belt tongue, a locking device for locking the seat belt tongue, and a release device for releasing the seat belt tongue from the lock. A sensor device electrically senses whether the seat belt tongue is locked, wherein the sensor device has a switch arrangement which can be activated by the seat belt tongue. The switch arrangement has an electrically conductive snap-action plate that can be moved between a first switched position and a second switched position. A mechanical activation device transmits a force exerted on the seat belt tongue during the insertion of the seat belt tongue onto the snap-action plate in order to move the snap-action plate from the first switched position into the second switched position. As a result, an electrical contact element is closed or opened.
Abstract:
A turn signal device for a vehicle for activating a turn signal in accordance with operation of an operation lever. The turn signal device includes a turning state detection unit, which detects a turning state of the vehicle. The turning state detection unit monitors a temporal change in the turning state of the vehicle after the turn signal is activated. The turning state detection unit deactivates the turning signal when detecting that the vehicle first turns in an activation direction of the turn signal, then turns in a direction opposite to the activation direction, and afterward turns again in the activation direction.
Abstract:
A sensor assembly for sensing relative movement between adjacent panels includes a base and first and second arms pivotally mounted to the base. An electrical connecting element is attached to the first and second arms and holds the first and second arms in a first position to indicate a first condition. When the first and second arms have moved relative to each other by a predetermined amount, the electrical connecting element breaks to indicate a second condition.
Abstract:
A self-contained turn signal indicator unit for signaling to the hearing impaired driver of a motor vehicle that the vehicle's turn signals are activated. The indicator unit is attached to the cover of the vehicle's steering column and produces a loud audible signal and a light signal when the turn signal lever is moved to the turning position. The circuitry includes a battery, a turn switch activated by movement of the turn signal lever, and a buzzer and a lamp. A volume control, operable by a user, controls the volume of the sound. An optional timed switch for turning off the circuit has a normally closed position and has an open position for a predetermined period of time after the turn switch is closed and remains closed.
Abstract:
A turn signal switch device comprises a control lever that has a lever portion that projects from a base portion that has a shaft hole, and a shaft that has a head disposed at one end. The head has a larger diameter than that of the other portion of the shaft, and is inserted into the shaft hole so as to serve as a rotating shaft of the control lever. The device also comprises a holder that is formed of synthetic resin, has an opening into which the base portion is inserted, and supports the shaft such that the control lever can be tilted along one plane. The device further comprises a case that supports the holder such that the control lever and the holder can be integrally tilted along the other plane which substantially crosses the one plane at right angles. A ring-shaped concave groove that extends in a circumferential direction is provided at the other end of the shaft. A bearing hole with a smaller diameter than that of the head and into which the shaft is inserted is provided in a pair of side plates of the holder that faces each other. A flexible engagement piece that extends inwardly in a radial direction of the bearing hole so as to be engaged with the ring-shaped groove is provided in one of the pair of side plates.
Abstract:
A safety switch that includes a housing, a first switch, and a second switch. The switch has a two part rod that is axially moveable within the housing. The parts of the rod are co-operable with respect to one another and independently operable to activate one of the first and second switches. A biasing element is arranged to bias the rod parts into contact with a cam arrangement and arranged to bias the rod parts out of engagement with one of the respective switches. The cam arrangement is configured such that rotation of the cam arrangement will move the rod parts thereby activating the switches to allow the safety switch to conduct electricity.
Abstract:
A device for establishing an electrical connection between two parts, in particular vehicle parts, which can move such that they can pivot with respect to one another about an axis, a first part (3) being provided with a current transmitter unit (1), and a second part (4) being provided with a current receiver unit (2), the current transmitter unit (1) and the current receiver unit (2) each being arranged in the region of the axis (5) such that the current receiver unit (2) and the current transmitter unit (1) come into contact with one another at least in an end position of the pivoting movement of the parts (3, 4).
Abstract:
A portable integrated device and a method of controlling power thereof. The method of controlling power to a digital integrated device which includes a first body and a second body slidingly attached to each other and a first mode and a second mode including sliding the first body relative to the second body from an open position to a closed position, turning off power of the digital integrated device in the first mode, and maintaining the power of the digital integrated device in the second mode. Accordingly, power control may be performed differently according to whether the sliding part is open or closed and whether the preset function mode of the portable integrated device is a camera mode or a non-camera mode, so that functions of the non-camera modes can be maintained even when the sliding part is closed.
Abstract:
A latch releasing device includes a switch that is turned on upon pressing a pressing button towards a switch body and unlatches a door, a base member that holds the switch via the switch body such that the pressing button is arranged on a front surface thereof, a key top member on the base member to cover the pressing button of the switch, and a biasing member between the base member and the key top member that biases the key top member in a direction departing from the pressing button of the switch. The switch is fixed to a panel via the base member such that the pressing button can be pressed via the key top member from outside the panel.
Abstract:
A switching hinge having a hinge housing at which a hinge flap is swivellably disposed about an axis. A switching element is coupled to the hinge flap, which switching element triggers a switching operation at a built-in switch in a predetermined position of the hinge flap.
