    Abstract: A touch sensor unit, that is installed on one of an opening provided in a vehicle and an opening and closing body configured to open and close the opening, includes: a touch sensor having a long sensor body; and a bracket configured to hold the touch sensor in a longitudinal direction of the sensor body and fixed to one of the opening and the opening and closing body. One of the touch sensor and the bracket includes an inserting portion including a locking piece, the other of the touch sensor and the bracket includes a holding portion including a locking portion locked to the locking piece and configured to accommodate the inserting portion, and one of the inserting portion and the holding portion is made of an elastomer having an elastic modulus lower than that of the other.

    Abstract: A non-mechanical-interfacing electronic switch or a mechanical-interfacing electronic switch are controlled to modulate between an active state and an inactive state based on electronic action. The switch includes an aperture defining an opening in a housing, and the opening defines an insertion path. A transmitter transmits a signal to a receiver along a signal path. To control the non-mechanical-interfacing electronic switch, a mechanical lockout device having a protrusion is inserted through the opening of the aperture along the insertion path. To control the mechanical-interfacing electronic switch, a mechanical control part have a protrusion is moveable to interrupt the signal. Methods of locking the non-mechanical-interfacing electronic switch with the mechanical lockout device as well as methods of locking the mechanical control part of the mechanical interfacing electronic switch with the mechanical lockout device are also provided.

    Abstract: A pinch detection sensor, for detecting the occurrence of pinch during closing of a sliding door, includes a door front edge rubber including a hollow portion inside, to be attached to a front edge portion of the sliding door in a closing movement direction of the sliding door, and a plurality of linear shape pressure sensing members accommodated in the hollow portion, each linear shape pressure sensing member comprising a tubular elastic body and respective conductor wires spaced apart from each other in an inner side of the tubular elastic body. The door front edge rubber includes, in the hollow portion, a plurality of housing spaces, which accommodate the plurality of linear shape pressure sensing members, respectively. Movements of the linear shape pressure sensing members between the plurality of housing spaces are restricted by a partitioning portion.

    Abstract: The invention provides a switch device including a shell, an operating member, a spring, a movable conductor, a first pin, a second pin, two resistors, and two connecting conductors. The operating member is partially exposed out of the shell, and the movable conductor is displaced when the operating member is operated. One side of the shell is provided with the first pin and the spring, another side is provided with the second pin. The resistors are connected with the second pin and have different resistance values. The connecting conductors are arranged between the two pins. The first pin contacts with the movable conductor. The connecting conductors without disposal of any crossover part therebetween and respectively connected with the resistors. The connecting conductors are arranged at intervals along a displacement path of the movable conductor which contacted one connecting conductor before and after displacement and forming two conductive paths.
