    摘要: The invention is directed to a quick release grounding clamp fabricated basically from an over-center type locking wrench which can be remotely released when a force is exerted upon the conductive cable employed for grounding purposes. Coupled to the normal release lever of an over-center type wrench is an extra operating means arranged to engage the conductive cable and responsive to forces impressed upon such cable either by the direct application of forces to the cable or by forces exerted via the surfaces to which the clamp is attached to operate the operating mechanism and cause the operation of the normal release lever of the wrench causing the wrench to open in a quick, positive manner. The first end of a conductive cable is attached to the clamp itself so that a good ground connection may be established between the conductive cable and the grounding surface. The second end of the cable is attached to the device to be grounded. In a first embodiment, a link is attached between the conductive cable and the release lever such that when forces are exerted upon the conductive cable the link is forced to move the releasing lever causing the unlocking of the wrench. In a further embodiment, the cable bears upon a roller connected directly with the release lever such that upon movement of the conductive cable the release lever is caused to operate, releasing the wrench mechanism. In other embodiments, the end of the release lever is formed into a loop through which is passed the conductive cable about which a trigger ring has been placed. When sufficient movement of the conductive cable has occurred the trigger ring engages and operates the release lever. In a further embodiment, an ancillary wire rope is attached to the conductive cable and which wire rope may selectively be connected to, or disconnected from, the releasing lever so that forces applied to the wire rope will cause release of the wrench mechanism.

The plates of each set are respectively interconnected and connected to at least one terminal, at the level of tabs of said plates, by cross members borne by a common shaft and tightened against one another and with a terminal element extending outwardly from the level of the shaft axis. Each cross member has a recessed lower portion on one of its faces designed when the cross members are assembled on the shaft to define spaces with the unrecessed face of the adjoining cross member so as to provide for clamping of tabs of electrode plates that are inserted into such spaces when the shaft which may be rivet-like means is riveted and tightens the assembled cross members on each shaft together.

    摘要: A solderless terminal strip of U-shaped, tempered, resilient metal having an opening in its bight for receiving the end of a conductor and clamping the same between the legs thereof as the latter are clamped together. Sharp edged pimple-like protruberances bite into the conductor to assure electrical contact and a strong mechanical anchorage. The clip legs are formed with channels, lengthwise thereof, preferably non-linear and of a size firmly seating the similarly shaped end of a conductor. Smaller sized conductors are accommodated by selecting a split sleeve adapter of suitable size to telescope over the conductor and be clamped between the legs of the clip.
