摘要： A hanging bag dispenser includes a bag support platform having a surface that contacts a last bag in a vertically supported bag pack. An angled mounting device is attached to the bag support platform to engage a mounting aperture that penetrates each bag in the bag pack. A positioning system is attached to the bag support platform and maintains the bag support platform at a sufficient height to allow the bag pack to extend downwardly from the mounting device. A pivotally mounted bag control arm is mounted to the bag support platform and permits installation of the bag pack on the mounting device when pivoted to a first, loading position and located to rest upon an outermost bag in the bag pack when pivoted to a second, control position. A surrounding control cage is attached to the dispenser to prevent a user from pulling a lower portion of the bag.

At least one side support extends outwardly from the first and second sides of the bag platform and upwardly from the platform. The at least one side support defines a space sized and shaped to accommodate at least one stack of bags. An overhead mounting feature is attached to the side support and has a series of apertures penetrating the feature for use in attaching to an overhead horizontal surface with at least one fastener. An end panel is pivotally attached to either of the first and second ends of the bag platform. A latching mechanism maintains the end panel in a first, upright position. The latching mechanism is magnetic or includes loop and eye fittings. The dispenser may also have a pivoting side panel.

摘要： The technology of the application provides an anti-theft self-checkout system to facilitate theft detection. The technology includes a post-purchase product location located in a field of view of an image detector. The post-purchase product location includes a scale to generate an actual weight of purchased products. The technology further includes a scanner that identifies products for purchase where the scanner is within the field of view. The image detector detects and tracks the movement of at least one of limbs or products through the field of view to the post-purchase product location. A processor compares the actual movement to a database of movements and generates a movement violation signal based on the comparison. The processor calculates a running weight of scanned products purchased and compares the running weight to the actual weight and generates a weight violation signal if the running weight and actual weight are outside of a tolerance.

The checkout location has: a) an aisle through which the shopping cart can be directed and with laterally spaced sides; b) a processing assembly at one side of the aisle; c) a station at which a person can be situated to operate the processing assembly; and d) a mirror on the other side of the aisle situated so that a person situated at the station can observe a reflection of articles placed on the storage shelf. The mirror has a reflective surface configured and located to reflect an image of the shopping cart only below the top of the shopping cart from a vantage point of a person situated at the station.

At least one side support extends outwardly from the first and second sides of the bag platform and upwardly from the platform. The side support defines a space for at least one stack of bags. A dispenser cover is affixed over the dispenser and may have a service aperture. The dispenser accommodates conventional, t-shirt and header-style bags in various configurations. The bags are assembled in bag stacks. The stacks may be configured in packs with removable covers or loaded in boxes.

摘要： Methods and apparatus provide for a Cart Inspector to create a suspicion level for a transaction when a video image of the transaction portrays an item(s) left in a shopping cart. Specifically, the Cart Inspector obtains video data associated with a time(s) of interest. The video data originates from a video camera that monitors a transaction area. The Cart Inspector analyzes the video data with respect to target image(s) associated with a transaction in the transaction area during the time(s) of interest. The Cart Inspector creates an indication of a suspicion level for the transaction based on analysis of the target image(s). Creation of a high suspicion level for the transaction indicates that the transaction's corresponding video images most likely portray occurrences where the purchase price of an item transported through the transaction area was not included in the total amount paid by the customer.
