    摘要: Two pairs of opposed feed rolls are rotatably mounted on the upstream and downstream sides, respectively, of a bar cutting mechanism with respect to the predetermined traveling direction of the bar. Each feed roll pair comprises a fixed feed roll on one side of the bar and a movable feed roll on the other side, with the movable feed roll being movable toward and away from the fixed feed roll. A drive mechanism constantly rotates each pair of opposed feed rolls, so that the bar is fed only when being pressed against the fixed feed roll by the movable feed roll. The feed roll pair on the downstream side of the cutting mechanism is further jointly movable laterally of the path of the bar against the force of a spring for lessening the load exerted thereon, and for preventing the bending of the bar, when the bar is being cut by the cutting mechanism. Each feed roll may be provided with a multiplicity of teeth arranged circumferentially thereon and resiliently biased radially outwardly for positive engagement with a regular pattern of ribs on the bar.

    摘要: A multi-dimensional bending apparatus is disclosed, wherein the entire length of the product is divided into a plurality of imaginary segments which are identified by detecting the continuously supplied length of an elongate material. The material is bent multi-directionally by a bending device including horizontal and vertical bending mechanisms and an axial twisting mechanism, which are individually actuated in response to the detected supplied length of the material. Multi-dimensionally bent, continuously supplied material is cut into the length of the product by means of a cutting device also actuated in response to the detected supplied length of the material, the cutting device including fixed and movable blade members which, during the cutting operation, are movable also in the direction in which the material is supplied. The movable blade member is formed with a slit with a side aperture through which the bent material having a lateral deflection moves out of the slit, permitting the return motion of the movable blade member. The cutting operation is effected without requiring an interruption of the continuous supply of the material.

    摘要: Parts which cannot fall because of their dimensions through an opening of a lower tool are separated from a workpiece plate in a cutting press with an immovable support, a coordinate table, two lateral workpiece supports movable parallel to the y-axis and a transverse carriage displaceable in the direction of the x-axis and having clamping elements, and with a central workpiece support of a plurality of articulately connected supporting elements displaceable in the direction of the y-axis so that a discharge opening for the separated part of the workpiece plate is openable or closable, in such a manner that first a cutting tool separates a workpiece part so as to retain at least one connecting web between separating edges of the workpiece plate and the workpiece part located transverse to the direction of movement of the central workpiece support, the workpiece plate and workpiece support being positioned by the coordinate table above the discharge opening, and before opening of the discharge opening the connecting web is removed by displacement of the central workpiece support from the workpiece plate with the aid of a special separating device on the cutting press.

    摘要: Automatic shearing apparatus is provided which includes a shear provided with a shearing blade, a feeding unit for feeding sheet metal to the shear, and at least one movable carrier arranged downstream of the shearing blade. The movable carrier is controlled to receive and store the sheared pieces and then to return them to the feeding unit or, selectively, to cause the sheared pieces to reach a controlling device for sending to a piece discharge area. The feeding unit can be a manipulator, with rectilinear motion perpendicular to the shearing blade, and a rotator, both located upstream of the shearing blade. The manipulator and rotator function to receive, rotate and feed the metal sheets to be sheared, as well as to receive, rotate and refeed to the shear the sheared pieces returned by the movable carrier.

    摘要: The apparatus comprises a sheet metal shears at a cutting station which station is provided with a lifting table 13 which is vertically adjustable, is used for cutting off small sections of sheet metal from a sheet and also is used for stacking these sections on a pallet 15. This lifting table extends through a cut-out side wall 5 for the shears and thus permits the shifting of an already piled-up stack 16 away from the shears, and then upwardly so that an adjacent stack 16a may be piled up neatly in spaced apart relation with stacks separated from each other by at least the thickness of the cut-out side wall. The continuing movement of the lifting table 13 after erecting the first stack 16 causes a small drop at the cut-off sections which are placed on the pallet 15, so that an orderly piled-up stack 16a develops. As the height of the stack increases the lifting table is gradually lowered until the predetermined height of the stack is reached.

    摘要: A high-speed bar feeding system for automatically feeding long non-cylindrical (concrete) reinforcing bars wherein the bars are removed from a bundle, placed in a single row on an inclined feed ramp having a multiplicity of support rolls and overhead retaining means adjacent the upper surfaces of the bars, the bars are transferred several at a time from the ramp to a conveyor adjacent the ramp having driven cylindrical rolls and a series of spaced fanning magnets located between the conveyor rolls which position the bars with a predetermined spacing, and the bars are advanced to magnetic drive rolls having several V-grooves to receive the bars and guide them through a cut-off machine to a retractable length gauge. Unique escapement means are employed to lift the bars comprising a series of arms which swing from an inclined retracted position below the conveyor rolls to an inclined raised position wherein the several bars move laterally off the feed ramp by gravity to a position above the conveyor rolls. Each escapement arm has a multiplicity of support rolls to facilitate movement of the non-cylindrical bars and has an escapement plate to engage the first of the remaining bars on the ramp. A unique control system allows operation of the escapement arms a short time before the flat roll conveyor is clear to receive more bars so that the bars can be fed continuously to the cut-off machine with no time delay.
