摘要: A three-side trimmer according to the present invention comprises a bound material feed unit (2) for feeding the bound material (1) one by one; a rotating table unit (3) for receiving the bound material (1) from the bound material feed unit (2) at a predetermined position and rotating the bound material at every predetermined angle in such a manner that the bound material is arranged at three positions of a top edge cutting position, a front edge cutting position and a bottom edge cutting position; a trimming unit (4) arranged for movement in a direction close to or away from the rotating table unit (3) between two positions of a cutting position at which the trimming unit (4) becomes close to the rotating table unit (3) so as to cut a top edge section (1a), a bottom edge section (1b) and a front edge section (1c) of the bound material (1), respectively, and a standby position at which the trimming unit (4) is away from the rotating table unit (3); trimming unit guide means (5) arranged between the rotating table unit (3) and the trimming unit (4); drive means (6) for moving the trimming unit (4) along the trimming unit guide means (5) between the cutting position and the stand-by position; a control unit (7) for controlling the operation of each of the rotating table unit (3), the trimming unit (4) and the drive means (6), whereby the trimming unit (4) moves from the standby position to the cutting position for cutting the top edge section (1a), the front edge section (1c) and the bottom edge section (1b) of the bound material (1), respectively every time the bound material (1) is arranged at the top edge cutting position, front edge cutting position and the bottom edge cutting position; and receiving position changing means for shifting the position at which the rotating table unit (3) receives die bound material (1) from the bound material feed unit (2).

摘要: A method for registering a sheet material article in a sheet material article handler includes sequentially engaging, using a movable backstop, a leading edge portion of a sheet material article moving in a direction of movement of the sheet material article along a path of movement of the sheet material article in the sheet material article handler so as to register the sheet material article relative to the sheet material article handler. The backstop is moved along an arcuate path in the direction of movement of the sheet material article from a first position out of the path of movement to a second position in the path of movement using a driver.

摘要: A sheet metal working apparatus having a supply mechanism adapted to supply an elongated and flat strip of sheet metal stock to an inlet of a punch press and along a longitudinal axis of the strip. An intermittently operable drive device is provided for effecting an intermittent movement of the strip of sheet metal stock relative to a punch press. A set of tools are provided on the punch press as well as a second intermittent drive device for effecting a metal working engagement of the tools with the sheet metal stock during intervals of time between the movement of the sheet metal stock to produce a continuous strip of a finished sheet metal fin stock. Guide structure on the apparatus guides the continuous finished sheet metal fin stock from an outlet of the punch press and effects a holding of the fin stock slidingly thereto until a predesignated length of fin stock has exited the punch press whereupon the fin stock becomes severed to a predefined length and an ejector mechanism forcibly moves the severed fin stock away from the guide structure toward a device for collecting a plurality of finite length segments of fin stock.

摘要: Automatic and semi-automatic slide mounters sever individual film transparencies from a photographic film web to prepare photographic slides therefor. The present invention relates to an apparatus for severing the individual film transparencies from the photographic film web in a slide mounter. The apparatus includes a movable knife assembly adapted for longitudinal adjustment and having a gauge for establishing an adjusted position for upper and lower knife blades therefor. The movable knife assembly is adjusted prior to operation to assure that the individual film transparencies of the film web will be correctly severed along film frame delineations for the individual film transparencies when advanced for operation across upper and lower knife blades of the knife assembly.

摘要: The apparatus for separating folded and perforated or creased endless or reel papers, which form an uninterrupted stack, comprises a conveyor belt 9 conveying the same to a separating station, in order to permit an automatic separation of the stack into individual stacks 7a with a predetermined number of paper sheets. For this purpose, a separating sword 2 is moved preferably from below between the sheets of the stack, so that a stack 7a is formed with the desired number of individual sheets. The small cavity 10 running in the longitudinal direction and formed by the separating sword 2 is used for receiving a knife 4, which is moved at right angles over the stack, in order to separate the same at a perforation or fold. Pivotable removal bolts 1 are used for conveying away the separated stack 7a and for transfer to a second conveyor belt 5. The removal bolts 1 are then moved back into the starting position, so that the separating sword 2 can be extended out of the conveying area of the stack and a new separating process can be carried out. This permits an automatic separation into small stacks with predetermined numbers at virtually any random point.

摘要: This application discloses a method and apparatus for converting thermoplastic web material, flat or tubular, to produce bags. A conventional bag machine produces web segments provided with a group of centrally located holes and each segment is transferred by a conventional rotary transfer device to one of a plurality of platforms which are sequentially located at a stacking station. The platforms are provided with upwardly projecting pins on which the web sections are stacked. After the accumulation of a desired number of web segments on the platform located at the stacking station, the loaded platform is indexed away from the stacking station to a perforating station and then to a cutting or cutting and blocking station to thereby produce two bag stacks, each of which are retained on the associated platform by the pins.

摘要: The present invention provides a method and apparatus for apportioning and cutting a loaf of meat into slices of equal thickness. The apparatus includes a frame, a meat compartment in the frame adapted to receive the loaf of meat, a measuring device on the frame for apportioning the loaf into a predetermined number or thickness of slices to be cut, a cutting blade on the frame to cut the loaf into the plurality of slices, an advancement ram connected to the measuring device for advancing the loaf after each slice is cut, and a control system interconnecting the measuring device and cutting blade so that the cutting blade will sequentially cut the loaf into the plurality of slices of equal thickness. The measuring device includes a first elongated member having calibrations of equal increments for substantially simultaneously apportioning the number and thickness of slices into which the loaf is to be cut. The method of apportioning the loaf of meat into a plurality of equal slices includes sensing the length of the loaf, dividing the loaf into a plurality of slices of substantially equal thickness with the measuring device, and cutting the loaf with the cutting blade into the plurality of slices of equal thickness.
