    Abstract: A method for force sensing using information from a display panel with a touch sensor and a fingerprint sensor is introduced. The method includes: obtaining, based on touch sensing data from a touch sensing circuit coupled to the touch sensor, first sensing information indicating capacitance value distribution over a touch sensing area due to pressing of an object on the display panel; obtaining, based on fingerprint sensing data from a fingerprint sensing circuit coupled to the fingerprint sensor, second sensing information indicating an effective pressing area due to the pressing of the object; and generating third sensing information indicating a force corresponding to the pressing of the object, based on the first sensing information and the second sensing information. An electronic module capable of facilitating force sensing and computing apparatus capable of force sensing are also provided.

    Abstract: A fingerprint detecting system comprises a fingerprint module, for receiving a fingerprint driving signal and performing a frequency modulation on the fingerprint driving signal, to correspondingly outputting a fingerprint signal with a first frequency based on the fingerprint driving signal, and a signal processing circuit, coupled to the fingerprint module, for receiving the fingerprint signal with the first frequency, performing a frequency demodulation to shift the first frequency of the fingerprint signal to a second frequency, and filtering the fingerprint signal with the second frequency based on the first frequency, whereby the filtered fingerprint signal is used for a fingerprint data analysis.

The panel includes a plurality of sensing pixels, a plurality of sensing lines and at least one first current source. Each of the plurality of sensing lines is coupled to a line of sensing pixels among the plurality of sensing pixels. Each of the at least one first current source is coupled to one of the plurality of sensing lines. The image sensing circuit, coupled to the panel, includes at least one second current source, each of which is coupled to one of the plurality of sensing lines. Wherein, a first sensing line among the plurality of sensing lines is coupled to a first current source among the at least one first current source and coupled to a second current source among the at least one second current source.

    Abstract: A differential input circuit and a driving circuit including the same are provided. The differential input circuit transforms an analog voltage signal corresponding to a sensing line on an OLED panel to a pair of differential input signals being output to a gain amplifier. The differential input circuit includes a sampling circuit and a scaling circuit. The sampling circuit receives the analog voltage signal and a reference voltage through a first scaling path and a second scaling path, respectively. The scaling circuit includes a first scaling path and a second scaling path. The first scaling path and the second scaling path collectively generate the pair of differential input signals, based on a first shift voltage, a first scaled voltage, a second shift voltage, and a second scaled voltage. The first shift voltage is less than the second shift voltage.

    Abstract: An electronic circuit including a touch control circuit, a fingerprint sensing circuit and a switch circuit is provided. The touch control circuit is configured to receive touch sensing signals from a panel and determine a touch area according to the touch sensing signals. The fingerprint sensing circuit is configured to receive fingerprint sensing signals corresponding to at least one fingerprint image from fingerprint sensors disposed in the panel via fingerprint sensing lines. The switch circuit is coupled to the fingerprint sensing circuit. The switch circuit is configured to be coupled to a part of the fingerprint sensing lines that is selected to form a fingerprint sensing zone for a fingerprint sensing operation according to the determined touch area. Each of the fingerprint sensing lines is selectable to be a boundary of the fingerprint sensing zone. An electronic device and a method for sensing at least one fingerprint image are also provided.

    Abstract: An optical sensing device, including a first power rail, a second power rail, and a plurality of optical sensing elements arranged in an array, is provided. Each optical sensing element can include a photo diode, a reset switch, and a buffer. The reset switch can have a control terminal to receive a reset signal. A first terminal of the reset switch can be coupled to the first power rail and a second terminal of the reset switch is coupled to the photo diode. A first terminal of the buffer can be coupled to the second power rail, a second terminal of the buffer can be coupled to the second terminal of the reset switch and the photo diode, and a third terminal of the buffer is configured to provide a sensing signal. The second power rail is separate or independent from the first power rail.
