    Abstract: Reliability of data reports can be determined by a device that receives a number of reports from different sources. One method includes: receiving data reports from devices. The data reports are associated with an occurrence of an event. The method also includes determining reliability data representing reliability of the data reports. The reliability can be determined based on one or more different defined characteristics such as the location at which a data report was generated relative to the location of the event, whether the data report was the most recently-received data report and/or the number of data reports reporting that an event is ongoing relative to the number of data reports reporting that the event is no longer ongoing. The method can also include determining whether a data report includes information indicative of a false positive report or a false negative report.

    Abstract: Discontinuous access to unlicensed spectrum is facilitated in a new radio access environment. According to an embodiment, a system can comprise performing a scanning procedure that determines whether a first subband and a second subband is available for transmission. The system can further facilitate determining whether the first subband and the second subband are adjacent, wherein a first channel formed at the first subband comprising a first guard band and a second channel formed at the second subband comprising a second guard band that is adjacent to the first guard band. The system can further facilitate in response to determining that the first subband and the second subband are adjacent and available for transmission, eliminating the first guard band and the second guard band.

    Abstract: Architectures and techniques are presented that can record video data and wireless communication device data. Signals from sources outside a field of view of a camera recording the video data can be filtered. Such can affect a shielding technique in which a signal shielding apparatus is adjusted in orientation based on an orientation of a camera device. Techniques are further presented to synchronize, according to time, video data and device data. Such synchronization can allow for improved correlation between visual objects (e.g., recorded by the camera) and radio objects (e.g., recorded by a transceiver). For example, visual techniques can be employed to estimate distance/locomotion of a visual object, whereas signal strength metrics can be used to estimate distance/locomotion of a radio object, and the relationship between the two can indicate a strong correlation that a particular device ID is linked to a particular visual object and vice versa.

    Abstract: The disclosed technology is directed towards locating and counting unused nodes, such as free Internet Protocol version 4 (IPv4) address blocks. A hierarchical structure of nodes is created from an origin block to a specified lower level, and the hierarchical structure is processed using mapping and eliminating to locate free nodes. A first node group comprises node(s) in use, a second node group identifies intermediate subnets between the first node of the first node group and the specified origin block, and a third node group identifies any subnets hierarchically below node(s) in use. Unused (free) node count information is obtained based on nodes below the origin block that are not in the first node group, the second node group, or the third node group.

    Abstract: Cloud simulation or validation system allows for the simulation of a future node that may be deployed on a piece of hardware. The system may attempt to simulate the operating system for node-A on top of the hardware for node-A, including basic network connectivity. When a host is booted up with the simulated configuration, validation scripts may be run to verify that the site is correctly prepped for cloud deployment. With its pre-staged RAM-based OS temporarily loaded into the host's RAM memory, any set of OS-based scripts, tools or binaries, may be executed for simulation and validation based upon the intended role of the host onto which the cloud simulation or validation system configuration is loaded.
