摘要： An absorptive article in which an absorptive body is deformed into a stable recessed shape to prevent leakage of a large amount of discharged bodily wastes including bodily fluid. The absorptive article has a front side sheet at least a portion of which is liquid permeable and that is placed on the skin contact surface side, a liquid non-permeable back side sheet placed on the clothing contact surface side, and a liquid retainable absorptive body placed between the front side sheet and the back side sheet. The absorptive body has a compression section formed, when compressed from the clothing contact surface side to the skin contact surface side, into a projected shape projected on the clothing contact surface side, toward the skin contact surface side, and the absorptive body also has a space section formed, when compressed from the skin contact surface side to the clothing contact surface side, into a recessed shape recessed on the skin contact surface side, toward the clothing contact surface side. The space section is formed on each of both sides of or on one side of a projection section located on the opposite side of the compression section on the skin contact surface side.

摘要： A manufacturing method of an absorbent article according to the present invention includes the steps of: splitting an elastic member bundle having line-splitting strength within the predetermined range into multiple first elastic members by feeding the elastic member bundle in an MD via a line splitter, the line-splitting strength measured by a predetermined measuring method; applying an adhesive at least on a predetermined curved line on a web continuously conveyed; and placing the multiple elastic members thus split on the web while swinging the elastic members in a CD. The elastic member bundle is formed by splitting a single original elastic member with a slit into the multiple elastic members, and bundling and pressurizing the multiple elastic members.

A position of a downstream end in the circumferential direction of at least one protruding portion of the protruding portions positioned most downstream of the protruding portion group in the circumferential direction is arranged shifted from a position of a downstream end of another protruding portion configuring the protruding portion row.

摘要： The present invention provides an absorbent article 1 that does not easily warp in a leg-surrounding portion. The absorbent article 1 includes an absorbing member 2 in an elongated shape arranged along a longitudinal direction of the absorbent article, and a stretchable chassis 3 having a leg-surrounding portion 3a recessed inward in a width direction. At least a part of the chassis 3 is composed of a composite sheet 13 obtained by affixing a stretchable sheet 15 and a non-stretchable sheet 16 to each other by a plurality of adhesive portions 18. The leg-surrounding portion 3a has an intersection crossing an expansion and contraction direction of the chassis 3 at a predetermined angle. The plurality of adhesive portions 18 extend in a direction substantially perpendicular to the expansion and contraction direction.

摘要： A method of continuously making a disposable pants-type diaper includes feeding first and second webs in a machine direction and bonding the first and second webs together to obtain first composite web. From the first composite web, a substantially circular section defined between each pair of the adjacent chassis in the middle region as viewed in the cross direction is clipped out to obtain a second composite web. The second composite web is folded in two and halves of the second web facing each other are locally bonded together by bonding agent to obtain a third composite web. The third composite web is provided on both sides of a cutting line extending in the cross direction with seal regions to obtain a fourth composite web and finally the fourth composite web is cut along the cutting line to obtain the individual pants-type diapers.
