摘要： A machine for making insulation may include two or more rotatory members configured to pull a precut insulation product at a first rate, wherein the precut insulation product comprises a first paper layer, a second paper layer, and a continuous paper core sheet, a first restraint and a second restraint spaced apart a predetermined distance to create a first space therebetween, and two or more second rotary members configured to feed a continuous paper sheet at a second rate into the first space such that the continuous paper sheet forms a plurality of flexible loops defining a plurality of air channels that extend in a direction that is substantially perpendicular with a machine direction. The first rate may be slower than the second rate.

摘要： The present invention relates to a composite container comprising a bottom film layer and a top film layer at least partially adhered to the bottom film layer. The top film layer is scored to form at least one resealable flap and at least one pull tab which is not adhered to the bottom film layer. The bottom film layer comprises at least one cavity opening. A cardboard layer is adhered on its lower surface to the upper surface of the top film layer, wherein the cardboard layer has at least one cavity opening which is substantially aligned with the scoring of the top film layer resealable flap and the cardboard layer is perforated to define a perimeter of at least one pull tab which is substantially aligned with and adhered, on its underside, to the upper surface of the top film layer pull tab.

摘要： An insulated container may include a rigid container surrounding an insulation layer formed from a post-industrial, pre-consumer card waste. The insulation layer may include a natural fiber lamination layer on an outer surface of the insulation layer or may be housed in a biodegradable plastic. The insulated layer may be manufactured in a capital “T” shape such that it may be folded for compact transportation prior to end use. The folded insulation layer may bound by a separable band. The separable band may be removed when folded insulation layer is placed in the rigid container. The insulation layer and the band may be biodegradable in an anaerobic environment.
