摘要: Disclosed is a compact zoom lens system having a image stabilizing function. This zoom lens system is provided with a plurality of lens units of which the interval between adjacent ones is changed during zooming. Shake correction is effected by a part of a lens unit of negative optical power of the plurality of lens units. Specifically, the lens unit of negative optical power is comprised of two lens components of negative optical power, and one of these two lens components is moved so as to have a component in a direction perpendicular to an optical axis to thereby change the imaging position of the zoom lens system.

Therefore, there is realized an optical system capable of effectively correcting chromatic aberration while having a structure in which a manufacturing cost is low and an environmental resistance is high.

摘要: A compact finder with excellent optical performance, and a camera including the finder are disclosed. The finder of the present invention includes an objective optical system, and an eyepiece optical system. The objective optical system includes, from an object side to an image side, a first lens unit having positive power, a second lens unit having negative power, a third lens unit having positive power, and a fourth lens unit having positive power. During zooming from a wide-angle end to a telephoto end, the second lens unit is moved toward the image side, the third lens unit is moved toward the object side, and the fourth lens unit is moved such that an air space between the fourth lens unit and the third lens unit is changed. The camera of the present invention includes a photo-taking optical system, and the finder of the present invention whose optical axis is different from an optical axis of the photo-taking optical system.

摘要: A zoom lens disclosed herein, having excellent optical performance within a full zoom range, is appropriate for use as a photographing lens for a lens-shutter camera, a video camera, and a digital still camera. The zoom lens includes at least four lens units from the object side, i.e., a first lens unit of negative refractive power, a second lens unit of positive refractive power, a third lens unit of positive refractive power, and a fourth lens unit of negative refractive power. A zooming operation is performed by axially moving the lens units so that the spacing between the first lens unit and the second lens unit becomes wider at the telephoto end than at the wide-angle end, the spacing between the second lens unit and the third lens unit becomes wider at the telephoto end than at the wide-angle end, and the spacing between the third lens unit and the fourth lens unit becomes narrower at the telephoto end than at the wide-angle end. With the focal lengths of respective lens unit set to satisfy a predetermined condition, a compact and high image-quality zoom lens thus results.
