Abstract: A label holder for use in a moist environment including a body panel connected at its lower edge by a resilient hinge to a transparent cover member to form an openable pocket for labels therebetween. The body panel is secured to a supporting surface by adhesive or may include an attachment panel connected to the rear of the body panel by a resilient spacer so that the attachment panel can be flexed for engagement in a C-channel. A downwardly and forwardly extending lip is formed on the top edge of the body panel and the top edge of the cover member is secured thereunder in the closed position of the cover member. A downwardly and forwardly extending ledge member is formed on the top edge of the cover member and extends beyond the lip member to a freely extending edge to dissipate moisture forming on the lip member. The mating side edges of the body panel may be sealed with strips of a resilient material to limit moisture from entering the label-receiving pocket. Alternatively, the entire front face of the body panel may be covered with a resilient material or the body panel itself may be formed of a resilient material to seal the edges.

Abstract: A label holder or label/sign holder to be secured to a merchandise-supporting shelf devoid of a C-channel on its depending front lip. An adaptor element is secured to the supporting surface of the shelf as by push pins and has a forwardly extending portion defining a hook member engageable in a lip member defined at the upper edge of the body panel of the label holder without interfering with movement of a transparent cover member on the label holder to insert or remove labels from a pocket defined therebetween. Various embodiments of rearwardly extending flanges on the back of the body panel are adapted to secure the lower portions of the label holder to or around a rearwardly extending flange on the bottom of the shelf lip.

Abstract: A product information and display tag for use with a horizontally extending product support hook, for presenting product information at a forward end of the hook has a rear part formed by a number of like mounting portions disposed end-to-end with tear lines therebetween. Each mounting portion is suitable for securing the tag to the proximal end of the hook. The tag can be used at its full length for longer hooks, or one or more of the mounting portions can be torn off to effectively reduce the length of the tag so that it can be used for shorter hooks.

Abstract: A product information display tag is particularly designed for presenting product information at the forward end of a product support hook of type having a proximal end mounting bracket in the form of a flat plate with prongs for snapping over a wire rod or transverse bar structure. The mounting portion of the tag is in the form of a fold-down panel with a central aperture for receiving the hook so that the panel can be positioned with its rear surface against the front surface of the plate. The panel has fold-back wings with contact adhesive thereon for folding back around the edges of the plate and adhesively securing against the rear surface of the plate. The panel may further have forwardly folding tabs for engaging and stabilizing the intermediate portion of the tag structure.

Abstract: A product information and display tag has a mounting portion particularly designed for use in attaching the tag to a flip lock-type elongate product display hook. The mounting portion of the tag has panels which can be folded into a wedge-like configuration to be trapped between a pivotal hook bracket and an apertured board when mounting prongs on the bracket are inserted through adjacent board apertures. The respective panels forming the wedge are provided with aligned apertures for receipt of the hook prongs and a cut-out is provided at the top of a front panel for accommodating the top shoulder of the hook when attaching the structure to the apertured board.

Abstract: A product information and display tag for presenting product information at the forward end of a horizontal product suspension hook has a mounting portion specifically designed for use with a particular type of hook known as a Snaplock Slat hook which has a plastic bracket at its proximal end for releasably securing the hook on a slatted wall panel. The mounting portion of the tag has an opening through which the bracket is partially inserted in order to secure the tag on the bracket, and the width of the opening is sufficient to preclude the tag from working off the bracket when in use.

Abstract: Several embodiments of a product identification and display tag for use in connection with a product-suspending hook extending substantially horizontally from a support surface are disclosed. In each case the tag comprises first and second parts. The first part has a mounting portion for attachment to the hook adjacent the support surface, and an elongate portion extending from the mounting portion for overlying the hook. The second part of the tag comprises a display portion for hanging vertically at the forward end of the hook to receive a product information and identification label or the like. The second part of the tag is releasably attached to the first part by male and female connector elements so that when a label is to be replaced, the second part of the tag can be removed and replaced with another second part having a new label, thereby avoiding the need to replace the tag as a whole.

Abstract: A product information tag for use in connection with a ladder rack-type display assembly having a product suspension hook projecting from adjacent an upright rod of a ladder rack, is formed from an elongated blank of sheet plastic which has in-line panels for folding into a depending triangular-shaped wedge at the back end of the tag, cut-outs bridging the bottom and back edges of the wedge for press-fitting the wedge respectively onto a proximal portion of the hook adjacent the rod and onto a portion of the rod adjacent the hook. The two-point press-fit type attachment provides excellent lateral stability to the tag which extends forwardly over the length of the hook to provide product information at its front end.
