Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, embodiments include providing video streams of video content to displays, each video stream includes a portion of the video content, determining that a viewer reaction to a first portion of the video content in a first video stream satisfies a viewer reaction threshold when the first video stream is presented on a first display, and determining that a sub-portion of the first portion of the video content caused the viewer reaction to satisfy the viewer reaction threshold in response to analyzing the first portion of the video content. Further embodiments include generating a second video stream of the video content, the second video stream comprises the sub-portion without a remainder of the first portion, and providing the second video stream to a second display. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a system and method for selecting media content for a group of persons located at a venue. The system and method identify a plurality of viewers in a vicinity of a venue that has one or more display devices from location data and extracts a content viewing preference of each viewer from their profile data. The process includes aggregating the content viewing preference of each of the plurality of viewers to generate an aggregated content profile. Based on the aggregated content profile, a list of content is generated. Next, a first group of viewers approaching a viewing range of a display device are sensed by imaging data. Any conflicts between content viewing preferences of the first group of viewers are detected and resolved based on weighting the viewing preferences of the group. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems, computer-implemented methods, and tangible computer-readable media for synthesizing a virtual window. The method includes receiving an environment feed, selecting video elements of the environment feed, displaying the selected video elements on a virtual window in a window casing, selecting non-video elements of the environment feed, and outputting the selected non-video elements coordinated with the displayed video elements. Environment feeds can include synthetic and natural elements. The method can further toggle the virtual window between displaying the selected elements and being transparent. The method can track user motion and adapt the displayed selected elements on the virtual window based on the tracked user motion. The method can further detect a user in close proximity to the virtual window, receive an interaction from the detected user, and adapt the displayed selected elements on the virtual window based on the received interaction.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for a service platform capable of providing device-based task completion is disclosed. A request for a task is received at a service platform from a customer. A worker device to complete the task is selected from a group of worker devices registered with the service platform based on a current attribute of the worker device. Data resulting from completion of the task is received from the selected worker device, validated, and presented to the customer. Abstract: A method for validating objects appearing in volumetric video presentations includes obtaining a volumetric video presentation depicting a scene, wherein the volumetric video presentation is associated with a metadata file containing identifying information for the scene, identifying user-generated content that depicts the scene, by matching metadata associated with the user-generated content to the metadata file associated with the volumetric video presentation, comparing a first object appearing in the volumetric video presentation to a corresponding second object appearing in the user-generated content, assigning a score to the first object based on the comparing, wherein the score indicates a probability that the first object has not been manipulated, and altering the volumetric video presentation to filter the first object from the volumetric video presentation when the score falls below a threshold.
