    Abstract: Concepts and technologies disclosed herein are directed to tiered immersive experiences for bimodal avatar groups. According to one aspect disclosed herein, a virtual assistant (“VA”) can be executed by a user device. The VA can obtain a preference for an immersive experience. The VA can generate a search request directed to an immersive experience marketplace. The search request can include the preference and a tier desired for the immersive experience. The user device can send the search request to the immersive experience marketplace, and in response, the user device can receive a search result that identifies at least one match for the immersive experience based, at least in part, upon the preference and the tier.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides task delegation and cooperation for automated assistants. In one example, a method performed by a processing system that is in communication with a plurality of automated assistants includes receiving, a query indicating a task with which a user desires assistance, parsing the task into a plurality of sub-tasks including a first sub-task and a second sub-task, identifying a first automated assistant of the plurality of automated assistants that is capable of performing the first sub-task and a second automated assistant of the plurality of automated assistants that is capable of performing the second sub-task, and formulating a proposal for responding to the query, wherein the proposal comprises a sequence in which the plurality of sub-tasks is to be performed and a mapping that assigns the first sub-task to the first automated assistant and the second sub-task to the second automated assistant.

    Abstract: Concepts and technologies disclosed herein are directed to the opportunistic creation of bimodal avatar groups. According to one aspect disclosed herein, a virtual assistant executed by a processor of a user device, can receive an event invitation. The event invitation can identify an event to which a user associated with the user device is invited. The virtual assistant can provide an event RSVP in response to the event invitation. The event RSVP can indicate whether the user plans to attend the event. The event RSVP can also indicate whether the user plans to attend the event in-person or virtually. The virtual assistant can obtain an avatar associated with the user. The avatar can include user identity information that uniquely identifies the user for the event. The virtual assistant can assist the avatar in joining an avatar group that includes a plurality of avatars, including the avatar of the user.

    Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, providing to a user device a video content item including at least one scene which includes a plurality of advertisement placement opportunities and determining a preference profile for an individual associated with the user device. Aspects further include selecting a group of matching advertisements having advertisement profiles that match the preference profile for the individual and determining a relative prominence score for each advertisement placement opportunity. Aspects further include ordering the matching advertisements according to prominence information specified for each matching advertisement, wherein the prominence information corresponds to a relative desired prominence specified by an advertiser associated with the matching advertisement. Aspects further include providing the ordered matching advertisements to the user device according to the respective prominence information so that a matching advertisement having a greatest desired prominence is displayed in the video content item at an advertisement placement opportunity having a highest relative prominence score.     Abstract: Synchronized satellite communications can include receiving, at a computer having a processor, a data request that identifies a requesting device, data to be received by the requesting device, and a time at which the data is to be received by the requesting device. The processor can determine a geographic location of the requesting device and locations of a plurality of satellites; identify, based on the geographic location of the requesting device and the locations of the plurality of satellites, satellites that are to provide the data to the requesting device; generate instructions for loading network requirements to the satellites; and provide, to at least one of the satellites, the instructions.     Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a method in which a processing system obtains physical and social environmental data for a communication device user, and provides content for presentation at the device. First reaction data, obtained via sensors associated with the user, indicate the user's reaction to presentation of the content; the data is analyzed to determine user affinity for the content in a context of the physical and social environments. The content is modified during the presentation; second reaction data is obtained and analyzed to determine a second user affinity for the modified content. If the affinity is enhanced, the modified content is sent to other users' equipment via a social network. Affinity responses regarding the modified content are analyzed, and a set of users is identified as an affinity group; additional content is transmitted to equipment of the affinity group.
