摘要： A child safety seat comprises a seat shell, two first latches, two second latches and a release handle. An underside of the seat shell has two protruding rails, each of which having an inner side surface facing a gap delimited between the two rails, and an outer side surface opposite to the inner side surface. The two first latches are assembled with the rails, and respectively protrude from the inner side surfaces of the two rails to engage with a base. The two second latches are assembled at positions adjacently opposite to the first latches, and respectively protrude from the outer side surfaces of the two rails to engage with a stroller frame. The release handle is operatively connected with the first and second latches at the two rails, and is operable to switch the first and second latches from a locking to unlocking state.

The seat attaching mechanism includes a first combining component, a second combining component and a latch. The first combining component is disposed on the frame, and a sunken portion is disposed inside the first combining component. The second combining component is disposed on the seat body to combine with the first combining component. An opening is formed on the second combining component. The latch is disposed inside the second combining component and pivots to the second combining component. The latch includes a protruding portion, which is adapted to protrude from the second combining component via the opening to detachably engage with the sunken portion.

The base comprises a shell body, and a support platform provided at an upper side of the shell body on which the child seat can be installed. The shell body includes a first portion having a bottom adapted to provide stable resting support, and a second portion extending upward from the first portion, wherein the shell body includes a storage cavity accessible from an outer side of the second portion. The storage cavity can be sized to receive free end portions of a restrain strap used for holding the base in place.

摘要： A secondary lock device for a one-hand fold mechanism on a child's stroller is pivotally mounted next to the actuator of the one-hand fold mechanism. The secondary lock device is positioned for convenient access by a finger of the operator to provide an intuitively operable secondary lock device cooperable with the one-hand fold actuator. The secondary lock device is spring-loaded by a torsion spring mounted on the rotational axis of the adjacent cam member forming part of the one-hand fold mechanism. The pivoted lock member includes an outwardly projecting member that engages a corresponding niche in the actuator when in a locking position. The outwardly projecting member rides along a cam surface on the actuator when the actuator is being operated, while the biasing spring returns the outwardly projecting member into the niche when the actuator reaches the home position.

The frame assembly has a left and a right frame side and each frame side includes an elongate bottom part having a front end and a back end. Each bottom part is oriented extending generally from a front to a back of the frame assembly. A fold latch is on the frame assembly and has two latch parts pivotally coupled to one another. A push arm has a lower end connected to one of the latch parts and extends upward and rearward to a handle. A front leg has a lower end pivotally coupled to a front end of the bottom part and extends upward and rearward to an upper end connected to the other of the latch parts. A support strut has an upper end pivotally coupled to the fold latch at a pivot axis and has a lower end pivotally coupled to the bottom part forward of the back end at a pivot connection. The pivot connection of the support strut in one example is positioned further forward than the pivot axis. The support strut in one example is positioned outboard relative to the bottom part.

摘要： A latching mechanism for a car seat that is mountable on a separable base member provides a positive locking of the car seat to the base member. The latch mechanism has a member that is positioned in the seat portion of the car seat to pivot upwardly when the latch mechanism is disengaged. The seating of a child on the seat portion requires the latch mechanism to be retracted into the seat portion, which corresponds to the locking of the latch mechanism. The latch mechanism includes four helical spools rotated by the pivotal movement of the latch lever to cause linear movement of the locking pins into engagement with the base member. A latch indicator has a pre-latch sensor that indicates proper positioning of the seat member and a latch sensor that indicates an engagement of the locking pins. An indicator light illuminates when the seat member is properly latched.

摘要： The apparatus is an infant seat that has reduced depth for shipping and recline controls that permit control of the seat during the reclining adjustment. The seat is constructed so that the deepest part of the seat fits into the rest of the seat for packaging, but locks into its proper location for use. The preferred embodiment of the recline control uses a dial on a seat pivot fixture. The dial is pushed in to release the seat for reclining, but the dial is interconnected with the seat so that the dial maintains full control of the seat movement. An alternative recline control captures and releases a support wire at the backside of the seat.
