    摘要： A child safety seat includes a restraining device, and an alert device and a switch serially connected in a series circuit. The restraining device includes a strap and a tether connector provided at a free end of the strap, the restraining device having an idle position and a deployed position, the restraining device being arranged in the deployed position to engage with a corresponding structure provided in a vehicle for restraining the child safety seat. The switch is operatively coupled to the restraining device and has an open state and a closed state, each of the open state and the closed state of the switch uniquely corresponding to one of the idle position and the deployed position of the restraining device. The alert device is activable to emit an alert signal when the series circuit is closed.

    摘要： A child safety seat is provided and includes a base, a seat body and a notifying system. The seat body is movable relative to the base between a first position and a second position. The notifying system includes at least one actuated device disposed on one of the base and the seat body, an actuating component disposed on another one of the base and the seat body, and a notifying device electrically connected to the at least one actuated device. When the seat body reaches at least one of the first position and the second position, the actuating component actuates the at least one actuated device, so that the at least one actuated device is actuated to generate different types of actuating signals. The notifying device generates different types of notifying signals when the at least one actuated device generates the different types of actuating signals.

The transition permission portion detects whether an acceleration increases or decreases a load, and sets a transition permission state even during the transition prohibition state. In the transition permission state, a determination result of a first occupant type is permitted to transit to a determination result of a second occupant type with a smaller load than the load of the first occupant type when the acceleration increases the load, and the determination result of the first occupant type is permitted to transit to a determination result of a third occupant type with a greater load than the load of the first occupant type when the acceleration decreases the load.

    摘要： An occupant detection system is configured to classify an object that resides on a seat of a vehicle. The system includes a first bladder, a second bladder, and a differential pressure sensor. The first bladder is configured to be disposed in a central area of a seat. The second bladder is configured to be disposed in a peripheral area of the seat. The differential pressure sensor is fluidicly coupled to the first bladder and the second bladder in a manner effective to determine a pressure difference between a first pressure of the first bladder and a second pressure of the second bladder. In one configuration, the first bladder and the second bladder are configured so the pressure difference when a person sits on the seat is greater than the pressure difference when a child-seat occupies the seat.
