Abstract: A leakage current detection and interruption (LCDI) device includes a switch module for controlling an electrical connection between input and output ends of power supply lines; a leakage current detection module for generating a leakage fault signal when detecting a leakage current on the power supply lines; a drive module coupled to the leakage current detection module and the switch module, for controlling the switch module to disconnect or connect the electrical connection; a wireless communication module, coupled to the output end, for wirelessly communicating with a remote control device to allow the remote control device to perform at least one of: controlling the switch module to disconnect or connect the electrical connection, setting parameters of the LCDI device, and obtaining electrical information and/or fault information of the LCDI device. The wireless communication module may be further coupled to the drive module and/or the leakage current detection module.

Abstract: A power plug includes a shell, input insertion plates, output power lines, a push button on the shell, and a trip assembly inside the shell for controlling electrical coupling between the input insertion plates and output power lines. The trip assembly includes a light emitting element, electrical coupling terminals, and a drive member mechanically coupled to the push button and configured to, in response to a pressing of the push button, control electrical coupling of the electrical coupling terminals, which in turn controls the electrical coupling between the input insertion plates and output power lines. The drive member includes a reflective portion that reflects a part of the light from the light emitting element to the push button as an indicator light. The dual function drive member that accomplishes both mechanical coupling and light transmission reduces the number of components. A device with an electrical control circuit is also disclosed.

Abstract: A leakage current detection interrupter (LCDI) device for an electrical appliance includes a shell and a trip assembly inside the shell. The shell includes an upper cover and a base cover joined together, and either the upper cover or the base cover includes a first cover and a removable second cover. The second cover spatially corresponds to a tail portion of the trip assembly; when it is removed, the tail portion is expose to allow a power cord to be connected to the LCDI device. By using a removable second cover, the cord can be conveniently assembled with the LCDI device when the LCDI device is installed on the electrical appliance, allowing the LCDI to be shipped without the cord. This can reduce the packed size of the LCDI device for easier shipping and storage, as well as lowering cost. It also makes the LCDI device more versatile.

Abstract: An LCDI device includes a shell, a movement unit, and a wire bundle assembly. The shell includes a base and an upper cover connected to each other. The movement unit is disposed in the base, and includes at least one connecting conductor. A first end of the wire bundle assembly is disposed in the upper cover and includes at least one shield detection line, where the shield detection line is electrically coupled to the connecting conductor. The shield detection line includes a connecting terminal at the first end of the wire bundle assembly which is configured to received and retain the connecting conductor inserted therein. The structure of the LCDI enables fast and secure assembling of the wire bundle assembly and movement unit, and eliminates the need for internal re-adjustment of the shield detection lines after assembling, which promotes automation of large scale production.

Abstract: A leakage current protection device with automatic reset after power outage includes a switch, a power supply module, a leakage current detection module, a self-testing module, a drive control module, and a first reset module. The drive control module drives the switch based on a leakage current signal from the leakage current detection module and/or a self-test fault signal from the self-testing module. The first reset module functions to automatically set the leakage current protection device in a connected state when power resumes after an outage. Another leakage current protection device with manual reset after power outage includes similar components above and also a second reset module, which functions to automatically set the leakage current protection device in a disconnected state when power resumes after an outage; the device can then be manually reset using a reset switch. These two devices can suit different needs of different electrical appliances.

Abstract: A leakage current detection device which includes a switching unit for controlling electrical connection between an input end and an output end; a leakage current detection unit, including a plurality of current carrier wires and at least one leakage current detection wire, the leakage current detection wire being configured to detect whether a leakage current exists in any one of the plurality of current carrier wires; and a temperature monitoring unit, including at least one temperature-sensitive resistive element disposed at a temperature monitoring location, the temperature-sensitive resistive element being coupled to the switching unit via the leakage current detection wire and controlling the switching unit based on a temperature at the temperature monitoring location. By providing the temperature monitoring circuit, the leakage current protection device can prevent the appliance form being in a high temperature condition for prolonged time period, greatly improving safety of the appliance.
