摘要： An elastic-matching alignment technique for providing an averaged prototype in a handwriting recognition system that improves the alignment of parametric representations of recognized characters to be averaged. The point-to-point correspondence resulting from an elastic match of two characters is obtained by using backpointers during the calculation of the match. A character is added to a prototype set if it is new or is not correctly recognized within a fixed threshold. Otherwise, the character is averaged into the closest prototype of its class to provide a new average prototype.

摘要： The present invention is directed towards a system and method for delivering client content. The system compares a plurality of client properties with a plurality of properties stored in a content server and determines a plurality of Boolean expressions. The system evaluates the expressions according to a recursive SQL query to retrieve applicable qualifying rules. Further, the system supplies an action associated with the applicable qualifying rules to a client. The actions allow client content to be automatically updated from a FTP server.

摘要： According to the teachings of the present invention there are provided a system and method for automatically supporting one or more registered products at a computing device, the computing device being enabled to communicate via a communication network to a support web server, the method comprising: downloading to the computing device a software agent; diagnosing malfunctions of the one or more products at the computing device and transmitting the malfunctions to said web server; communicating from the support web server to the software agent one or more solutions in response to receiving the malfunctions; and installing at least one of the one or more solutions thus transmitted at the computing device.
