Abstract: Embodiments implement a central commit registry to ensure integrity of code within a Git repository, and compliance of that code with requirements of a computing platform. Commits out of the platform are registered in the central commit registry, together with a content hash. Prior to importing code to the platform from the Git repository, commits between the current and target commit are checked against commits recorded in the central commit registry. Import of code to the platform from the Git repository is rejected, if a commit is found that is not registered or where the content hash does not match. Embodiments facilitate using Git repositories as channels for delivering code to platforms, ensuring safe/compliant import of extensions drafted by parties (e.g., customers; partners) outside the platform. Such external parties are thus able to use their own Git repositories for development, testing, and/or deployment of code that they have prepared.

Abstract: Some embodiments provide various methods for offloading operations in an O-RAN (Open Radio Access Network) onto control plane (CP) or edge applications that execute on host computers with hardware accelerators in software defined datacenters (SDDCs). At the CP or edge application operating on a machine executing on a host computer with a hardware accelerator, the method of some embodiments receives data, from an O-RAN E2 unit, to perform an operation. The method uses a driver of the machine to communicate directly with the hardware accelerator to direct the hardware accelerator to perform a set of computations associated with the operation. This driver allows the communication with the hardware accelerator to bypass an intervening set of drivers executing on the host computer between the machine's driver and the hardware accelerator. Through this driver, the application in some embodiments receives the computation results, which it then provides to one or more O-RAN components (e.g., to the E2 unit that provided the data, another E2 unit or another control plane or edge application).

Abstract: In some examples, a system receives, from a requesting entity, input information relating to a program to be deployed on a server system. The system establishes, based on the input information, an environment in the server system, where the environment is based on interaction with a subsystem of the server system, the subsystem of the server system to support one or more of fault tolerance for the program or scalability of the program in the server system. After establishing the environment of the subsystem of the server system, the system sends response information to the requesting entity, the response information useable by the requesting entity to manage the program when executed in the server system.

Abstract: Systems, methods, articles of manufacture, and computer-readable media. A web browser of a device may receive selection of a uniform resource locator (URL). An operating system may download an application from an application server based on the URL. The application may identify a plurality of applications installed on the device and select a first institution corresponding to a first application. The application may receive a cryptogram from a contactless card associated with the first institution and transmit the cryptogram to an authentication server. The application may receive an authentication result specifying the authentication server decrypted the cryptogram. The web browser may receive, based on the decryption of the cryptogram, an account number, an expiration date associated with the account number, and a card verification value (CVV) associated with the account number. The web browser may provide the account number, expiration date, and CVV to a server associated with the application.

Abstract: A disclosed method includes assigning a unique identifier to a computer product instance, such as a server, switch, router, or storage device, to be deployed at a data center or other location on behalf of a customer, generating security credentials for the computer product dependent on the identifier, obtaining the credentials by a customer-side automated deployment agent, and using them by the deployment agent during deployment of the computer product. The credentials may be generated by a supplier-side credential management system, then requested and received by the deployment agent over a secure communication channel. The credentials may be generated by a program shared between the supplier-side credential management system and the deployment agent. The identifier may identify a hardware or software component or be selected by the supplier or customer. The credentials may include a username, password, token, cryptographic key, or digital certificate for a first login.
