Abstract: Friction disks, such as rotors and stators, including keyed wear liners are disclosed. The friction disks may include a core and a replaceable wear liner coupled to each side of the core. The wear liners may include a plurality of keys which engage key notches in the core. The key notches may prevent the wear liners from rotating with respect to the core in response to a shear force, such as a force applied during braking.
