    摘要: Systems and methods for identifying the level of media in a vessel with a sensing cable including an optical fiber sensor array aligned with a heating element disposed in the vessel. An excitation source is configured to propagate at least one heat pulse through the heating element along at least a portion of the sensing cable to affect an exchange of thermal energy between the heating element and the one or more media exposed to the sensing cable. An optical signal interrogator is adapted to receive a signal from each of a plurality of sensor locations and measure a temperature profile corresponding to the heat pulse at the sensor locations. A control unit is configured to identify a level of each of media by determining properties of the media exposed to the sensing cable at each of the sensor locations based on the temperature profile corresponding thereto.

    摘要: A first video signal is accessed, and represented in a first color space with a first color gamut, related to a first dynamic range. A second video signal is accessed, and represented in a second color space of a second color gamut, related to a second dynamic range. The first accessed video signal is converted to a video signal represented in the second color space. At least two color-related components of the converted video signal are mapped over the second dynamic range. The mapped video signal and the second accessed video signal are processed. Based on the processing, a difference is measured between the processed first and second video signals. A visual quality characteristic relates to a magnitude of the measured difference between the processed first and second video signals. The visual quality characteristic is assessed based, at least in part, on the measurement of the difference.

In one aspect, the audio transmitter includes: An analog to digital converter configured to convert an analog audio signal into a digital audio signal; a digital compressor configured to compress the dynamic range of said digital audio signal; a digital modulator configured to modulate the compressed digital audio signal into a wireless communication signal; and the analog to digital converter, the digital compressor and the digital modulator are integrated in one integrated circuit. The described devices improve the compression and expansion device linearity, resulting in better match for the compressor at the transmitter and the expandor at the receiver.

The second image stream has a second dynamic range, which is higher than the first dynamic range. The decoded image stream is converted from the first non-linear or linear color space to a second, different color space to obtain a color converted image stream. A higher dynamic range image representation of the color converted image stream is generated to obtain a transformed image stream. Inverse tone mapping parameters are generated based on the transformed image stream and the second image stream.
