Abstract:
The invention concerns a sliding roof system for a vehicle, comprising at least one front roof panel (40) and one rear roof panel (48), mobile relative to each other between a flush position and an offset position in height. One of the roof panels comprises assemblies of front and rear levers articulated to tilt between a low position and a high position wherein the panel involved is offset in height relative to its flush level. One of the panels comprises driving means for driving the lever assemblies either from the front rearwards, to raise the panel, or inversely, to shift it from its offset position towards its flush position. The lever assemblies engage guides (41, 44) adapted, upon controlled displacement from the front rearwards of the lever assemblies, to guide their tilting movement upwards and, upon reverse displacement, to guide their tilting movement downwards.
Abstract:
The roof according to the present invention has a front part, a rear central element articulated to the front part of the roof, and two rear side elements that are installed free to move with respect to the central element. A front drive and guidance system is adapted to displace the side elements with respect to the central element when the front part of the roof is displaced with respect to the central element and includes two side connecting rods, each rod being installed free to rotate at the front part of the roof and relative to a displacement system designed to displace the corresponding side element relative to the central element.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a retractable car roof, comprising several rigid roof elements that can be moved between a position in which they cover the passenger compartment of the vehicle and a position in which they are stored in the vehicle's rear luggage compartment. This roof comprises the following: at least one rear central roof element (5) and one front central roof element (6); rear (7) and front (8) lateral roof elements; the rear central roof element articulated to the chassis of the vehicle around a first transverse axle (9) and the front central roof element articulated to the rear central roof element around a second transverse axle (10); the rear lateral elements articulated to the chassis and the front lateral elements articulated to the rear lateral roof elements.
Abstract:
An air deflector device for a convertible vehicle has a deflector mounted to pivot between a shutting position, in which it participates in making up the roof when the roof is in its closed configuration, and an opening position that it takes up in order to protect the passengers inside the vehicle from the flow of air when the roof is in its retracted configuration. The deflector is mounted to pivot on a carriage which is itself mounted to move along longitudinal guides, it thus being possible for the effectiveness of the deflector to be significantly improved by moving the deflector along the longitudinal direction of the vehicle.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a retractable roof for a vehicle, comprising at least one front element (2; 25, 26), a rear roof element (1) and two lateral roof elements (2; 24) which are rigid and which can be displaced by drive means provided in order to fold down the lateral roof elements in a substantially perpendicular manner in relation to the plane of symmetry of the vehicle about an axis of rotation which is substantially vertical. The drive means include a support plate (3) which is mounted on the rear roof element and a drive plate (4) which is coupled to one of the lateral roof elements and which is rotationally mounted on the support plate about said axis of rotation, whereby one of the plates comprises a finger (11; 20) which is engaged in a groove (6; 21) of the other plate and driving means (7; 23) are provided in order to displace the finger in relation to the plate bearing it such that the lateral roof element rotates in relation to the rear roof element by means of interaction of the finger with the groove.
Abstract:
The invention concerns an off-road vehicle, in particular of the amphibious type, having a left wheel-train (6, 7, 8) and a right wheel-train, arranged to propel the vehicle on both land and water, propulsion resources (10) to drive the said wheel trains, and mobile control resources (15) capable of supplying at least one control signal as a function of their position. The said propulsion resources include a first electric motor capable of driving the left wheel-train, a second electric motor capable of driving the right wheel-train, and synchronisation resources (16) to synchronise the two electric motors as a function of the control signal.
Abstract:
A method for automatic opening and closing of opening elements (2) of a vehicle (1) pivoting about at least two articulations makes provision to protect interference zones (ZAP1, ZAP2, ZAP3, ZAP4, ZAP5) by having at least one presence detector and/or at least one contact detector and including the steps: Emitting of a control signal for opening or closing the opening element or elements (2); Respectively the automatic and complete opening or closing of the opening element or elements (2) during which the following are performed: Monitoring of the occurrence of interference, using the detectors, which, in the event of interference being detected, generates a detection signal; and Processing of the detection signal by a calculation unit which generates an activation signal controlling the device for activating the opening element or elements (2) according to an operating mode adapted to the situation detected.
Abstract:
The lid for a rear trunk of a vehicle having a roof foldable into the trunk is connected to the bodywork by means disposed at the front edge and at the rear edge of the lid and whose function is either to lock or to hinge the lid in a manner such that said lid can open either from the front backwards or from the rear forwards, and control means cause the lid to open in either of its opening directions or to be closed. According to the invention, the control means comprise at least one articulated arm and an actuator which is connected to the articulated arm and to the bodywork, and which is adapted to move the articulated arm and the lid.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a retractable roof fitted to a convertible vehicle, and which includes: a first, front roof element and a rear roof element which are movable between a position covering the passenger compartment of the vehicle and a position stored away from above the passenger compartment, and movable arms movable in relation to the rear roof element it, between a first position in which they extend longitudinally between said rear roof element and the windscreen, and a second position in which they are retracted. At least one part of the first roof element is movable in relation to the rear roof element and the arms, while the rear roof element is fixed in position on the vehicle in its covering position. In addition, the front roof element is movable between a closed position isolating the passenger compartment from outside at the location of the said front roof element, and at least one open position, in order to create a communicating hatch through the roof.
Abstract:
