Abstract: An example non-transitory computer-readable medium includes instructions. The instructions, when executed by a processor, cause the processor to determine access rights of a telepresence robot to a physical location based on access rights of a user that is to control the telepresence robot. The instructions, when executed by a processor, cause the processor to assign the determined access rights to the telepresence robot.

Abstract: A disclosed example method to display information from a computer system includes: accessing peripheral display information in a designated peripheral display area of a frame buffer memory in response to detecting a presence of the peripheral display information, the designated peripheral display area being a subarea of the frame buffer memory, the sub-area covering less than an entirety of a main screen of a monitor; displaying, via a peripheral information display device, the peripheral display information from the designated peripheral display area of the frame buffer memory, the peripheral information display device being separate from the main screen; determining user input coordinates based on a user interaction with the peripheral display information; updating the peripheral display information from a computer to the frame buffer memory; and displaying the updated peripheral display information from the designated peripheral display area of the frame buffer memory via the peripheral information display device.

Abstract: An example device includes a monitoring engine. The monitoring engine is to measure a characteristic of a wireless signal related to a path of the wireless signal. The wireless signal includes data from a remote source. The device includes an analysis engine to determine that an object is within a proximity threshold of a user based on the characteristic of the wireless signal. The device includes an indication engine to indicate to the user that the object is within the proximity threshold of the user.

Abstract: In one example in accordance with the present disclosure, an attention analysis system is described. The attention analysis system includes a database. The database includes 1) images indicative that users are paying attention to corresponding computing devices and 2) images indicative that users are not paying attention to corresponding computing devices. The system also includes an analyzer to extract multiple user position characteristics from a stream of images of a user disposed in front of a computing device. A comparer of the system determines, by comparing the stream of images of the user to the images in the database, whether the user is paying attention to the computing device.

Abstract: An example device includes a headset interface to connect a headset that includes a speaker and a first microphone, a second microphone to detect ambient sound in an environment of the device, and a processor connected to the headset interface and the second microphone. The processor is to perform a volume adjustment to sound to be outputted at the speaker of the headset based on the ambient sound detected by the second microphone during a call that uses the headset. The processor is further to compensate the volume adjustment for a user's voice detected at the first microphone.

Abstract: Examples disclosed herein provide a computing device. As an example, the computing device includes a camera comprising a lens, and a housing comprising an opening extending through the housing, wherein the opening is to accommodate the lens. The housing further includes a shutter to selectively obscure the opening, and a mechanical trigger, upon receiving an electrical signal, to move the shutter to obscure the opening. Upon the mechanical trigger engaging the shutter to obscure the opening, the housing further includes a mechanical feature to block the mechanical trigger from moving the shutter to expose the opening

Abstract: Examples associated with device operation mode change are described. One example device includes a data store. The data store may store contextual data correlating spatial data with a set of operations modes for the device. The spatial data includes data describing quantities and locations of persons relative to the device. A scanner detects a set of current spatial data of the device, including current quantities and current locations of persons relative to the device. A mode change module controls the device to enter a selected operation mode based on comparing the current spatial data to the contextual data. A learning module updates the contextual data based on a user behavior in response to the device entering the selected operation mode.

Abstract: In one example method, a computing device scans an environment via an omnidirectional camera, detects objects in the environment, and captures depth information of the environment and the objects in the environment via 3D imaging of the omnidirectional camera. The computing device makes adjustments to audiovisual (AV) transmissions based on the detected objects and the depth information captured of the environment and the objects.

Abstract: Example implementations relate to calibration data transmissions. For example, a computing device includes a storage device to store calibration data of an electronic device coupled to the computing device. The computing device also includes a network interface to establish a network connection with a second computing device. The computing device further includes a processor to automatically transmit, via the network connection, the calibration data to the second computing device based on a location of the second computing device relative to the computing device and based on an association with second computing device via a communication session.
