    Abstract: An example data transmission method includes: generating a physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU), where the PPDU includes a physical layer payload field, the physical layer payload field is used to carry a first data bit, and the first data bit is determined based on a first mapping relationship and a to-be-transmitted data bit; and sending the PPDU.
