    Abstract: A communication method and apparatus are provided. The method includes: A terminal device receives first indication information sent by a network device. The terminal device determines a target transmission mode of N TBs based on the first indication information, where the target transmission mode is a sequential transmission mode or an interleaved transmission mode. The terminal device receives the N TBs from the network device based on the target transmission mode. According to the method and the apparatus in this application, the terminal device can receive, based on different transmission modes, DCI and a plurality of TBs that are scheduled by using the DCI.

    Abstract: A signal sending method, a signal receiving method, and a communication apparatus. A first device sends a first signal to a second device on a first frequency domain unit, and sends a second signal on a second frequency domain unit. The first frequency domain unit includes a first frequency, and the second frequency unit includes a second frequency. An absolute value of a difference between the first frequency and the second frequency is related to one or more of the following: a first bandwidth, a second bandwidth, or a third bandwidth. The first bandwidth is a bandwidth occupied by the first frequency domain unit in frequency domain. The second bandwidth is a bandwidth occupied by the second frequency domain unit in frequency domain. The third bandwidth is a bandwidth occupied by a third frequency domain unit in frequency domain.

    Abstract: This application provides example communication methods and apparatuses. One example method includes performing, by a network device on a preconfigured resource, data demodulation on uplink data from a terminal device. The network device can then send downlink control information (DCI) to the terminal device, where the DCI includes first indication information, and if the uplink data fails to be demodulated, or it is determined, based on a result of the data demodulation, that the terminal device needs to retransmit the uplink data, the first indication information indicates either the terminal device to initiate random access or EDT and retransmit the uplink data or that the uplink data fails to be demodulated.

    Abstract: Example communication methods and apparatus are described. In one example method, a first cell includes a plurality of terminal devices that can transmit uplink data on a same uplink time-frequency resource. A first terminal device in the plurality of terminal devices determines a reference time domain location based on a preconfigured uplink time-frequency resource, where the reference time domain location is the same as a reference time domain location determined by another terminal device in the plurality of terminal devices. The first terminal device determines a time domain location that is (first duration×N H+second duration×(N−1)) away from the reference time domain location as a start time domain location of X gaps. The first terminal device further determines a time domain location that is (first duration×(M−1)+second duration x (M−1)) away from the reference time domain location as a start time domain location of Y first durations, where Y=X or Y=X+1. Uplink data is sent by the first terminal device to a network device on a first time-frequency resource used to transmit uplink data.
