摘要: This invention provides a method to design assessment tests for computer programming skill. Presently there are several tests like Microsoft and Java Certification. However, all the tests are not well designed and cannot provide accurate measure of genuine programming skills of testees. A good test for programming skill must have testee do the actual programming during the test. This invention is aimed at allowing testee to do the actual programming in tests while results can be graded by machine automatically. This is achieved by having questions in tests specially designed so that testee can only answer multiple-choice questions correctly if he makes the computer programs running correctly. The embodiment of this invention makes it implemented in various fields of Microsoft .Net and C# programming language and obviously applied to other languages.

摘要: The present invention is directed to novel optical sensors and novel methods for sensing optical radiation. The novel optical sensors and the novel optical sensing methods are used, for example, for controlling the operation of automatic faucets and flushers. The novel sensors and flow controllers (including control electronics and valves) require only small amounts of electrical power for sensing users of bathroom facilities, and thus enable battery operation for many years. A passive optical sensor includes a light detector sensitive to ambient (room) light for controlling the operation of automatic faucets or automatic bathroom flushers.

摘要: A file data restoring system and method of a computer operating system and software thereof are applied in the installation of an operating system into a client computer. Divide the file data corresponding to the operating system into data blocks according to an appointed data size. Generate a check code for each of the data blocks to form a sequence list of original check codes and a sequence list of target check codes. Compare the sequence list of original check codes with the sequence list of target check codes, after installing the operating system into the computer. If the comparison result is inconsistent, a restoring call information is sent out. The position of the inconsistent check code is acquired through the restoring call information and the comparison result. The original file data corresponding to the position of the check code is read and restored to a corresponding target file.

摘要: The invention teaches an automatic discharge device for a lithium bromide absorption chiller unit, comprising an automatic pump apparatus, a pump chamber, a gas-liquid separation chamber, and a gas storage chamber. A valve F1 is disposed at the outlet line of the liquid pump. A valve F2 and a gas discharge and liquid feed line disposed between the liquid pump and the valve F1 are connected to the gas storage chamber. A valve F3 is set on the gas duct and liquid return line between the gas storage chamber and the gas-liquid separation chamber. A liquid choke self-closing discharge rubber ball valve, a one-way spring discharge valve, and additionally, an electromagnetic valve or a motorized valve are set on top of the gas storage chamber. The invention simplifies effectively the chiller construction and increases operational reliability.

摘要: A method, computer readable medium and system are provided which retrieve confirming sentences from a sentence database in response to a query. A search engine retrieves confirming sentences from the sentence database in response to the query. IN retrieving the confirming sentences, the search engine defines indexing units based upon the query, with the indexing units including both lemma from the query and extended indexing units associated with the query. The search engine then retrieves a plurality of sentences from the sentence database using the defined indexing units as search parameters. A similarity between each of the plurality of retrieved sentences and the query is determined by the search engine, wherein each similarity is determined as a function of a linguistic weight of a term in the query. The search engine then ranks the plurality of retrieved sentences based upon the determined similarities.
