Each of the panel components include opposite side surfaces and edge surfaces therebetween, the fastening assembly including a system for joining the panel components one to the other in which an elongated open channel extends from an edge surface and into the face of one of the side surfaces of the first panel component. An elongated fastening element is disposed within a bore in a surface of the second panel component and is adapted for insertion into the channel, the channel being closed by an insert so that the elongated fastening element is covered by the insert when the panel components are brought into abutting relationship and joined by the elongated fastening element.

摘要： A bag in squeeze bottle fluid dispenser capable of dispensing substantially all of the fluid product contained therein. A suitable bag support element is inserted inside the flexible bag to prevent substantial axial movement of the bag in the direction of its discharge orifice and to encourage radial collapse of the bag instead. The internal bag support means, which in a preferred embodiment comprises an extruded plastic helix, has an internal fluid passage formed within the coils of the helix and fluid communication to allow fluid contained within the bag to access the internal fluid passage along substantially the entire length of the internal bag support element. Thus, radial collapse of the flexible bag does not block the passage of fluid remaining in the bag through the discharge orifice in the bag until substantially all of the fluid contained within the bag has been dispensed. In a particularly preferred embodiment, the internal bag support element is inserted into the dispenser through the discharge orifice of the bag to a point substantially coinciding with the opposite end of the flexible bag after the bag has been filled with the fluid to be dispensed.

摘要： A liquid impervious cuff assembly for a disposable surgical gown or the like comprising a stockinette folded back upon itself to form a double-walled, substantially cylindrical cuff envelope folded at its forward end, open at its rearward end and having inner and outer walls. A layer of liquid impervious material is located between the inner and outer walls of the cuff envelope. The open end of the cuff envelope and the fluid impervious layer between the wall thereof are attached to the free end of a surgical gown sleeve. This attachement may be accomplished by sewing the inner wall, the liquid impervious layer and the outer wall at the open end of the cuff envelope to the free end of the surgical sleeve. The cuff assembly may be adhesively attached to the free end of the gown sleeve. For example, the inner wall, liquid impervious layer and outer wall of the cuff envelope at the open end thereof may be arranged in an overlapping orientation and each adhered directly to the free end of the surgical gown sleeve by adhesive means.

摘要： Disclosed is a process for the synthesis of fluorinated olefins, and in particularly preferred embodiments tetrafluorinated olefins having F on an unsaturated, non-terminal carbon, such as 2,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene. The preferred processes of the present invention in accordance with one embodiment generally comprise: (a) reacting a compound of formula (I) X1X2 (I) with a compound of formula (II) CX1X2X3CX1═CX1X2 (II) to produce a reaction product comprising a compound of formula (III) CF3CHX1CH2X2 (III), and (b) exposing said compound of formula (III) to reaction conditions effective to convert said compound of formula (III) to a compound of formula (IV) CF3CZ=CH2 (IV) wherein X1, X2, and X3 are each independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, chlorine, bromine, fluorine and iodine, provided that X1 and X2 in formula (I) are not both hydrogen and Z is Cl, I, Br, or F.
