Abstract: A computer implemented method includes providing a real-time environmental model of a shared virtual environment (SVE) that includes multiple virtual electronic wagering game machines (vEGMs), transmitting VR data corresponding to the SVE to a virtual reality (VR) device that is associated with a player. The VR data includes user display data that causes a display in the VR device to render a portion of the SVE based on an orientation of the VR device and a location of the VR device in the SVE. The method includes receiving, from the VR device, tracking information that is generated by multiple sensors that are configured to provide information corresponding to the player, and responsive to receiving the tracking information, transmitting updated VR data that causes the display to display a virtual interaction with one of the vEGMS in the SVE.

Abstract: A method for controlling a wagering gaming apparatus includes displaying a game on a display screen, receiving, from a sensor device, a plurality of location data points corresponding to a plurality of locations of an anatomical feature of the player in three-dimensional space as the anatomical feature of the player moves in the three-dimensional space, analyzing a first group of the location data points to identify a first input command, the first group of location data points comprising sequential location data points, causing a first action to be taken in the game, the first action being determined based on the first input command, and analyzing a second group of the location data points to identify a second input command, the second group of location data points comprising sequential location data points. The first group of location data points and the second group of location data points at least partially overlap.

Abstract: An electronic gaming machine (EMG) includes a locating sensor generating an electronic signal based on a player's location in a sensing space. The EGM also includes a movable connector controllable by an electronic control signal. The electronic control signal controls an amount of movement of the movable connector. The EGM also includes an ultrasonic emitter configured to emit an ultrasonic field when the ultrasonic emitter is activated. The ultrasonic emitter coupled to the movable connector to allow the ultrasonic emitter to move. The EGM also includes one or more processors coupled to the locating sensor, the ultrasonic emitter and the movable connector. The processors configured to: identify a location of a player feature based on the electronic signal generated by the locating sensor; and control the movable connector and the ultrasonic emitter based on the identified location.

Abstract: A mobile gaming device may be a player's own personal tablet, smartphone, PDA, etc., with an application program installed via the internet for carrying out a remote gaming session. All gaming functions are carried out by a stationary gaming terminal communicating with the mobile device, such as by using WiFi. The mobile device operates as a user interface. Registration for the mobile device may be via a registration terminal connected in a network with a plurality of gaming terminals. The mobile device may communicate wirelessly with the registration terminal, and the registration terminal then communicates with the played gaming terminal via the network. The mobile device may select to play games offered by any available gaming terminal. The gaming terminals may be gaming machines. The registration terminal may also be a cashing out terminal and print a ticket.
