摘要: A vehicle bed storage device may include a rotatable beam. The beam is comprised of a pair of aligned tubular members. The beam is rotatable between a first position in which the storage device defines a vehicle bed divider and a second position in which the storage device defines an overhead storage rack. Rotatable joints connect the beam to the vehicle bed and allow the beam to be rotated between stops at the first position and the second position. At least one clamp maintains the aligned orientation of the tubular members of the beam. A sleeve based mounting interface may be applied to the tubular members of the beam to facilitate mounting various objects to the beam. Alternatively, a clamp-based mounting interface may be applied to the beam to facilitate mounting various objects to the beam.

摘要: A convenient and natural way to draw polyline shapes on a stylus-based computing device is described. A tool or other drawing function relies on a timing mechanism to identify the various vertices in a polyline shape. For example, the endpoint of each line may be detected responsive to the user stopping (or substantially stopping, such as by remaining within a predefined maximum movement threshold) movement of the tip of the stylus relative to the touch-sensitive surface. In addition, feedback is provided indicating that a line and/or its endpoint is about to commit to the polyline shape being drawn. Such feedback may be displayed shortly before the line and/or endpoint actually commits. Upon further delay without substantial movement of the stylus, the line and/or endpoint may then actually commit. A “snap” function is also provided that assists the user in fully closing the polyline shape, if desired.

摘要: A method (100) comprises steps of: receiving a first digital model (102) of a first three-dimensional scene comprising at least one object; receiving a second digital model (112) of a second three-dimensional scene comprising at least one object; and performing a change analysis (102) on the first and second digital models to provide a difference indication representing a difference between the first and second models. In one embodiment a mean square error operation (110) is performed on the first and second digital models to provide a value indicating the difference between the digital models. In another embodiment, a conflation operation is performed on the difference model provided by the change analysis (120) and an object level change database (124) is produced.

摘要: The present invention provides a method of controlling thermal energy within a fan drive. The fan drive includes an input member rotating at an input speed, and an output member attached to the fan and rotating at a fan speed, with a viscous fluid disposed therebetween. The fluid selectively transmits torque between the input member and the output member such that the fan speed is a function of a controllable parameter of the fluid. The parameter is continually controlled by a programmed controller. The method includes the steps of pre-determining a threshold temperature for the fan drive, with the threshold temperature approaching a maximum desirable temperature for the fan drive, and adjusting the fan speed as necessary to maintain a fan drive temperature below the threshold temperature. The controller may regulate fluid volume or fluid viscosity, or any other controllable parameter of the fluid.

摘要: A logical separation between pages, such as an implicit page break, is introduced to separate text entered during one handwriting session from text entered during another handwriting session. The amount of time elapsed since ink has been captured on the previous page is a factor that may be used to determine whether to insert an implicit page break into the new page. A change in context, such as a different date or different recognized subject matter labels, is also a factor that may be considered in determining whether to insert an implicit page break.

摘要: A camera (10) captures a subject facial image. A unit (30) generates a tracking signal containing feature extraction data. In conjunction with a memory store (40), the unit (30) generates an output signal representing a substitute face having the features of the subject face. To generate the tracking signal, the facial area is detected (3103, 3107-8) initially and used in location of the mouth (3102, 3110-3114) and eyes (3104-6, 3115-3118). Only the H and S components are used for detecting the facial area; and only the S and V components for the mouth within the facial area. A face vector may be generated (50) using the tracking signals.

摘要: A real time output containing data relating to states of facial parts is generated. A facial area detection unit (11) has monitoring (51-57) and determining (59-61) processing circuits operating in a pipelining manner to determine position of the facial area. The monitoring circuits (51-57) monitor pixel value frequency using 3D histogram and backprojection processing. The generating facial area signal has masks applied by a unit (12) which supplies data to mouth area and eye area detection units (14,15). Each of these operate on similar principles to the facial area detection unit (11).

摘要: Various example embodiments are disclosed. According to one example embodiment, a router table may comprise a table top, a mounting can, a sleeve, and an adjustment mechanism. The table top may have an aperture and a plurality of support members; the support members may be configured to support the table top. The mounting can may be attachable to the table top in a vicinity of the aperture. The sleeve may be engaged to the mounting can, and may be configured to receive a router and to position a router bit of the router along an axis extending through the aperture. The adjustment mechanism may be configured to move the sleeve within the mounting can and relative to the table top to thereby move the router along the axis and position the router bit at one of a plurality of positions relative to the table top.
