    摘要: A cinematographic system records motion-picture images on an elongate information recording medium which includes either a charge storage layer or a light modulating layer. The recorded images are reproduced and projected onto a screen. If the charge storage layer is employed, the motion-picture images are recorded as corresponding electric charge images photoelectrically converted from optical images, and if the light modulating layer is employed, image information corresponding to the motion-picture images is recorded under an electric field depending on electric charge images photoelectrically converted from optical images.

    摘要: An image formation apparatus using a recording medium including a scattering-mode light-modulation member which takes an opaque state in response to a heat and takes a transparent state in response to an electric field. The apparatus comprises a heater and an electrode device which are disposed in opposed relation to the recording medium. The heater preheats the recording medium in accordance with a control signal from an external device and the electrode device applies an electric field to the recording medium after the heating, thereby completely erasing an image previously recorded in the recording medium. After the erasure, the recording medium is heated by a thermal head in accordance with an information signal from an external device so as to form a new image in the recording medium.

    摘要: A color image pickup device comprises an image pickup tube, a color stripe filter comprising a plurality of stripes, a circuit for obtaining a color multiplexed signal by multiplexing color components obtained via the color stripe filter in a direction perpendicular to a scanning direction of the image pickup tube, and a circuit for producing a color demodulated signal by subjecting the color multiplexed signal to a color demodulation. The color stripe filter is arranged on the image pickup tube so that a longitudinal direction of the stripes thereof is substantially parallel to the scanning direction.

    摘要: An image formation apparatus using a recording medium including a scattering-mode light-modulation member which takes an opaque state in response to a heat and takes a transparent state in response to an electric field. The apparatus comprises an electrode device disposed in opposed relation to the recording medium and a charge removal device facing or in contact with the recording medium. The electrode device applies an electric field to the recording medium thereby completely erasing an image previously recorded in the recording medium and the charge removal device removes charge left in the recording medium due to application of the electric field by the electrode device. After the erasure, the recording medium is heated by a thermal head in accordance with an information signal from an external device so as to form a new image in the recording medium.

    摘要: A method of information conversion in which a recording medium is composed of a photoconductive member and a photo-modulation member both exhibiting a photoelectric effect and a dielectric mirror interposed therebetween, laminated to each other. An electro-magnetic radiation beam intensity-modulated with a serial information to be converted is radiated to the photoconductive member. The radiated beam is deflected straight along a surface of the photoconductive member to form a charge image composed of electric charges having an electric charge quantity corresponding to the information, as arranged in a straight line in a region on a border between the photoconductive member and dielectric mirror, corresponding to a region of the photoconductive member to which the beam is radiated. A two-dimensional bundle of electro-magnetic radiation beams of constant intensity and covering the region on the border is radiated to the recording medium at the photo-modulation member side thereof to take out a two-dimensional bundle of electro-magnetic radiation beams exhibiting intensity variation subjected to the charge image due to the photoelectric effect from the recording medium.

The color stripe filter may be arranged on the image pickup tube so that a longitudinal direction of the stripes is approximately parallel to a scanning direction of the image pickup tube, and the sampling may be performed at sampling points which are deviated in the scanning direction for each scanning line. On the other hand, the color stripe filter may be arranged so that the scanning direction is inclined by a certain angle with respect to the longitudinal direction of the stripes so that an interval between two mutually adjacent sampling points on each scanning line along a direction approximately perpendicular to the scanning direction is within a repetition pitch of the scanning lines.
