摘要： The present invention provides methods and compositions for identifying soybean plants that are tolerant or have improved tolerance, or those that are susceptible to, iron deficient growth conditions. The methods use molecular markers to identify, select, and/or introgress genetic loci modulating phenotypic expression of an iron deficiency tolerance trait in soybean plant breeding. Methods are provided for screening germplasm entries for the performance and expression of this trait.

摘要： An electrosurgical system includes an electrosurgical probe connected to a control console, wherein the probe is capable of coagulating and ablating tissue depending on a selected operating mode. Before operating the system, probe-specific data stored in a memory device associated with the probe is read by a processing device in the console. The data includes source impedance values specific to a coagulation or cutting mode of operation. A constant duty cycle value for a modulated cutting mode also is provided. Depending on the operating mode selected, an RF generator adjusted to have a predetermined source impedance value provides a voltage value to the probe. During the duty-cycled mode, the RF generator generates an instantaneous voltage value output for a duty cycle portion that is less than 100% of a time period, which value is no less than a maximum continuous average voltage value for the electrosurgical probe.

摘要： A laser device includes a plurality of lasers that includes a first laser and a second laser. The laser device further includes a drive circuit configured to apply a pulsed current to the first laser at a first phase. The drive circuit is further configured to apply the pulsed current to the second laser at a second phase. The first phase and the second phase are different. A total voltage provided to the plurality of lasers during a period between the first and second phases is substantially smaller than a sum of individual voltages provided to the plurality of lasers, respectively, during a pulse period of the pulsed current.

摘要： A circuit includes a first input terminal for receiving a first pulsed voltage and a second input terminal for receiving a second pulsed voltage. The circuit further includes a load and an LC filter. The LC filter includes a coupled inductor pair that includes a first winding and a second winding magnetically coupled to each other. The first winding is coupled between the first input terminal and the load, and the second winding is coupled between the second input terminal and the load. A frequency of a first current flowing through the first winding is increased by the second pulsed voltage applied to the second winding.

摘要： A system for asset tracking, comprising a universally accessible property tracking database. The database is based on an organization-property-individual model, and uses automatic close-match searching to match lost and found items. Any type of property can be reported found, registered, and reported lost, and recovered property can be returned to its owner. Embodiments of the system include on-line access that allows a user or organization to register an item, based upon the item's characteristics or an affixed label code. If the item is lost due to accident, theft, or damage, the system can be used to register the lost item and to generate reports and insurance claim information. A user who finds an item may register the item as a found item. When a match is found between a registered lost and registered found item the system may be used to return the item to the proper owner.

An ambient temperature associated with the integrated circuit is measured. A desired junction temperature of the integrated circuit is achieved by adjusting a body bias voltage of the integrated circuit. By controlling temperature of individual integrated circuits, temperature variation during burn-in testing can be reduced.

In another aspect of the invention, the MP3 player flashlight is a peripheral device connected to a digital port of the MP3 player. Alternatively, the flashlight is formed in such a shape as to fit into an external memory card slot of an MP3 player (e.g., in the shape of a SmartCard), drawing power and even control from the MP3 player through the connector otherwise intended for a memory card.
