    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for preventing or treating of cartilage related diseases, such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, articular cartilage damage, multiple chondritis, osteochondrosis, etc., which comprises administering an effective amount of calcium L-threonate to a subject in need of such prevention or treatment.
