    摘要: A scroll type compressor includes a stationary scroll element, a movable scroll element orbiting about a given axis and cooperating with the stationary scroll element for compressing a fluid in a compression chamber defined between the two scroll elements, and a rotation preventing unit for preventing rotation of the movable scroll element about its own axis. The rotation preventing unit has at least a plurality of pairs of scroll side pins mounted on the movable scroll element and housing side pins mounted on a housing of the compressor. When the compression chamber has a reduced volume of 10 through 22% of an initial volume thereof immediately after completion of sucking of the fluid, at least two of the plurality of scroll side pins are arranged to be symmetrical with one another with respect to a line L.sub.2 which passes through a rotating center O.sub.R of the movable scroll element and is perpendicular to a different line L.sub.1 which passes through the rotating center O.sub.R of the movable scroll element and an orbiting center O.sub.S of the movable scroll element. The two scroll side pins are also arranged on a leading side to the cooperating housing side pins, respectively, in a direction corresponding to a direction of rotation of the movable scroll element about the rotating center O.sub.R.

A radial wall thickness T3 of the ring between the outer and inner cylindrical surfaces thereof is set to be equal to or larger than 1.7 mm.

    摘要: In a bending type mechanical descaling method, streak-like scales remain, which cause a die seizure in the subsequent drawing process. In the present invention, there is provided a quite new mechanical descaling technique capable of eliminating such streak-like scales. The new mechanical descaling method includes the step of passing a metal wire through a torsion generating portion for forcibly turning the metal wire around the axial center thereof while running the metal wire, thereby removing scales due to a difference in toughness between the metal wire and scales.

    摘要: A scroll type compressor includes a front housing, a fixed scroll, a movable scroll and a rear housing, and its lateral cross section has a substantially oval shape. The spiral element of the movable scroll is located in the space defined by the front housing and the fixed scroll in such a way as to engage with the spiral element of the fixed scroll. The space defined by the fixed scroll and the rear housing serves as a discharge chamber where compressed refrigerant gas is discharged. Since this compressor has the same compression displacement as that of a compressor having a circular cross section, this compressor can be placed in narrow space whose width is less than the width of the circular compressor, without any reduction in the cooling performance.

    摘要: A heat treating process for a rod by the use of a fluidized bed consisting of alumina, silicon sand, zircon sand, and the like, is disclosed for adjusting the strength of the rod due to its cooling within the fluidized bed. While prior art heat treatment processes of this type adopt an attempt to vary the temperature of the fluidized bed for varying the cooling rate of the rod, such results in the need to use costly heat-resisting apparatus for the fluidized bed and equipment associated therewith. In accordance with the heat treatment process of the present invention, a rod is introduced through means of an inlet opening into the fluidized bed, and subsequently, the rod passes through the fluidized bed in an upwardly inclined manner so as to exit from the surface of the bed. The fluidized bed in this case has a predetermined length and the rod is fed at a predetermined speed. Thus, the varying soaking times of the rod within the fluidized bed are obtained by varying the distance from the inlet to the point where the rod emerges from the surface of the fluidized bed, so as to thereby adjust the resulting strength of the rod. This process has no need to vary the temperature of the fluidized bed and yet permits the adjustment of the strength of the rod to be achieved over a wide range, with simple apparatus and operations, while retaining existing productivity.
