    摘要: An electrical control cabinet includes a casing, a plurality of heat elements, a heat exchanger, and two fans. The casing includes a first receiving portion and a second receiving portion. The first receiving portion communicates outside of the casing through the heat exchanger. The fans are received in the second receiving portion. The heat elements include a plurality of first heat members received in first receiving portion and a plurality of second heat members received in the second receiving portion. The first heat members is isolated from airborne contaminants and moisture. The first heat members in the first receiving portion disperse heat by the heat exchanger, and the second heat members in the second receiving portion disperse heat by the fans.

    摘要: A method for facilitating semantic event classification of a group of image records related to an event. The method using an event detector system for providing: extracting a plurality of visual features from each of the image records; wherein the visual features include segmenting an image record into a number of regions, in which the visual features are extracted; generating a plurality of concept scores for each of the image records using the visual features, wherein each concept score corresponds to a visual concept and each concept score is indicative of a probability that the image record includes the visual concept; generating a feature vector corresponding to the event based on the concept scores of the image records; and supplying the feature vector to an event classifier that identifies at least one semantic event classifier that corresponds to the event.

    摘要: The invention can achieve a recovery time that satisfies the demands of real-time transmission processing by performing, in an extremely short time period, an RSTP process in a network, which is configured in a ring topology and wherein a plurality of IEEE 802.3 compliant nodes is connected via prescribed transmission lines, using hardware to execute processes related to the physical layer and the data link layer of the OSI reference model—without software processing. The RSTP processing unit of each node: receives BPDU data, which is received from the network by one of two PHY units and stored in a BPDU send/receive buffer of a corresponding MAC unit that is connected to that PHY unit, via a BPDU data bus that is connected to that MAC unit; decodes the received BPDU data; performs a prescribed process; transfers the BPDU data, via the BPDU data bus that is connected to the other MAC unit, to the other BPDU send/receive buffer; and transmits that BPDU data from the PHY unit connected to the other MAC unit to the network.

    摘要: An active device for dynamic control of the transmission properties has at least one photonic crystal waveguide that has an electrically insulating layer formed within or near the waveguide core and two lateral conductive regions divided by the insulating layer. An alternating voltage signal induces phase and amplitude changes of electromagnetic wave propagating inside the device. Electromagnetic wave signals propagating through two such active photonic crystal waveguide devices may be mixed to produce at least one output signal through interference. Devices having one or more such active photonic crystal waveguides may be utilized as a tunable optical delay line, a tunable optical filter, a switch, or a modulator. A preferred embodiment comprises a photonic crystal waveguide made of a silicon slab with a periodic array of apertures or oxide columns therein, wherein an silicon oxide layer disposed in the waveguide core separates a p-doped region from an n-doped region.
