摘要: A system and method for dynamically determining a plurality of possible or valid parameter values and automatically including one of the parameter values in a software program. In one embodiment, the plurality of possible parameter values may be dynamically determined based on a hardware configuration of a computer system. A graphical user interface for selecting a parameter value may be displayed. The graphical user interface may visually indicate the plurality of dynamically determined possible parameter values and may allow a user to easily select one of the possible parameter values for inclusion in the software program. User input may be received to the graphical user interface to select a first parameter value from the plurality of possible parameter values. The first parameter value may be programmatically included in the software program in response to the first parameter value being selected.

摘要: A peer in a peer-to-peer network joins an advertisement room having an associated identifier. A joining peer identifies a peer closest to the advertisement room. In various embodiments, the peer that is closest to the advertising room is the peer having a discreet hash table ID closest to the advertisement room identifier. The joining peer requests from the closest peer information about peers that the closest peer knows to be part of the advertisement room. The closest peer provides the joining peer with connection information for those peers, and the joining peer establishes connections with the peers. Peers in the advertisement room provide advertisements for chat rooms. To join a chat room, a peer determines which of its peers in the advertisement room is the closest peer to the chat room, based on the chat room identifier, and informs that peer that it is now part of the chat room.

摘要: A clamp assembly of a vehicle leaf spring suspension is disclosed. The clamp assembly has an axle bracket secured to a vehicle axle and a top cap secured to the axle bracket by mechanical fasteners to define an axle seat. The axle bracket and top cap may include interlocking keys and keyways to cooperate with the mechanical fasteners in transmitting the load from the vehicle axle. A spring seat of the leaf spring is received within the axle seat and is tapered. The tapered spring seat, when combined with a deformable liner in the axle seat, effectively eliminates the inactive portion of the leaf spring to increase the effective length of the spring and minimize the spring rate.

摘要: A method and apparatus for sensing levels of insoluble fluids within a storage vessel utilizing an array of main capacitive sensors having differing geometries. The array of main capacitive sensors gives the ability to measure the levels of insoluble liquids in a vessel. Each of the main capacitive sensors include at least one pair of conductive plates capable of submersion in the at least two insoluble fluids, and the geometries of the pair of conductive plates differ and are distinct, such as in distance or in width, in each of the main capacitive sensors. In addition, the apparatus and method may include at least one reference sensor placed intermittently along the height of the vessel to provide input as to the permittivities of the insoluble fluids.

摘要: The disaster-safe binding apparatus of the present invention comprises a rigid, fire, and water-resistant binder beneficially sized to accommodate documents, plats, and/or other materials to be maintained therein. The binder comprises a rigid book frame constructed of stainless steel. All or substantially all of the outer surfaces of the rigid frame are covered with non-flammable and self-extinguishing material. A gasket assembly extends around the opening of the binder apparatus. When the binder apparatus is closed, the gasket assembly acts to form a water-resistant seal to protect the internal contents of the binder from moisture, water, and/or other harmful external elements.

摘要: Disclosed is a method for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness in achieving closure of large, complex, high-performance digital integrated circuits. Circuit macros are re-optimized and re-tuned in the timing closure loop by means of a reformulated objective function that allows the optimizer to improve the slack of all signals rather than just the most critical one(s). The incentive to improve the timing of a sub-critical signal is a diminishing function of the criticality of the signal. Thus all signals are improved during the optimization, with the highest incentive to improve on the most critical signals, leading to faster and more effective overall timing closure.
