With the present invention, the process of installing software component is more reasonable. A system and apparatus for installing software components are also provided.

The present invention provides methods for transmitting SyncML synchronization data. One is that the originator constructs a SyncML message after encrypting the user data to be transmitted and then transmits the data in an existing transmission way; the user data includes, but is not confined to, authentication information, terminal capability information and the data to be synchronized; the other method is that the originator encrypts the SyncML message in the transport layer before transmitting the message, and the recipient deciphers the received SyncML message from transport layer and processes the message subsequently. The two methods can be used either separately or together. If they are used together, the transmission of SyncML synchronization data is provided with double safety insurance. By using the present invention, user data can be transmitted safely without being intercepted by the third party.

A method, a system, a server, and a terminal for processing message are described. The method includes the steps as follows. A notification message for requesting to establish a session sent by a session requester is received, in which the notification message carries session management information related to the session. The session management information of the session in the notification message is acquired, and a session connection with the session requester is initiated according to the session management information. Alternatively, the notification message is acknowledged according to the session management information, a reply message is generated according to an acknowledgement result, and the reply message is sent to the session requester. In embodiments of the present invention, a Data Synchronization (DS)/Device Management (DM) server determines problems of the sent notification message according to the information returned from the terminal, so as to perform the further processing, thereby preventing the DS or DM server from blindly and repeatedly sending the notification message when not being informed that a session connection is established by a DS or DM terminal.

The present invention provides a method for notifying presence information, a presence server, a client and a system. A watcher subscribes to presence information of the presentity via the presence server. The presence server receives the published message sent by the presentity client or application sever and judges whether the watcher has defined notification rules, if notification rules have been defined, the presence server processes the published message according to content-related process rules predefined by the watcher and presentity and the notification rules. If it is determined that the notification rules have not been defined, the presence server processes the published message according to content-related process rules predefined by the watcher and presentity. The presence server sends the processed published message to the watcher. The notification rules can be predefined in the presence XDMS or the presence server by the watcher, and also can be created in response to subscription. By using the method and system, the presence server can determine whether the user is to be notified and which presence information is to be sent according to the requirement of the user.
