Abstract: A light including a housing having an upper portion, a lower portion, and a central axis. The lower portion defines a battery port. The upper portion acts as a lens. The light further includes a heat sink extending upward from the lower portion of the housing and including a body defining a central aperture. A plurality of light support surfaces are arranged around a perimeter of the body and a top support member is coupled to and oriented perpendicularly relative to the plurality of light support surfaces. The light further includes a first plurality of LEDs coupled to the plurality of light support surfaces and a second plurality of LEDs supported on the top support member. The light further includes a first battery pack and a second battery pack, both of which are electrically connected to the first and second pluralities of LEDs when received in the battery port.

Abstract: A site light including body, an arm coupled to the body having an adjustable arm length, a light assembly coupled to the arm opposite the body, and a drive mechanism with a crank arm rotatable about a first axis, where rotating the crank arm in a first direction causes the arm length to increase, and where rotating the crank arm in a second direction causes the arm length to decrease. The site light also includes a damper assembly in operable communication with the drive mechanism, where the damper assembly resists rotation of the drive mechanism when the crank arm rotates in the second direction, and where the damper assembly does not resist the rotation of the drive mechanism when the crank arm rotates in the first direction.

Abstract: A site light including a body, an arm coupled to the body having an adjustable arm length, a light assembly coupled to the arm opposite the body, and a drive assembly configured to alter the arm length. The drive assembly, in turn, includes a drive wheel mounted for rotation with respect to the body, an idle wheel mounted for rotation with respect to the body, and a biasing member configured to bias the idle wheel toward the drive wheel. The site light also includes a cable coupled to the arm where the cable is positioned between and engaged by both the drive wheel and the idle wheel.

Abstract: A portable lighting device includes a light source, a body supporting the light source, the body including a base having a bottom surface opposite the light source, and a mounting assembly coupled to the base, the mounting assembly including a movable tab. The tab is movable relative to the base between a stored position in which the tab is positioned adjacent the bottom surface and a deployed position in which the tab extends outwardly from the bottom surface. The tab is configured to at least partially support the portable lighting device when the tab is in the deployed position.

Abstract: A light includes a housing having an upper portion and a lower portion. The lower portion defines a battery port. The heat sink includes a body defining a central aperture that extends along a central axis, a plurality of light support surfaces arranged around a perimeter of the body, and a top support member attached to tops of the plurality of light support surfaces. The light further includes a first plurality of LEDs coupled to the plurality of light support surfaces to emit light in a 360 degree pattern, a second plurality of LEDs supported on a surface of the top support member that is perpendicular to the plurality of light support surfaces, and a battery pack received in the battery port to power the first plurality of LEDs and the second plurality of LEDs.

Abstract: An area light includes a base having a first end and a second end, a pair of legs rotatably coupled to the first end of base, where the pair of legs is rotated towards the base when the light is in a stowed configuration and is rotated away from the base when the light is in an open configuration, and a light body having a light head. The light body is rotatably coupled to the base on the first end of the base, wherein the light body is rotated towards the base when the light is in the stowed configuration and is rotated away from the base when the light is in the open configuration. A light deploy mechanism couples the light body to the base. The light deploy mechanism is adjustable to move the light body between the stowed configuration and the open configuration.
