摘要:
Certain embodiments provide a method for radiological imaging including: receiving a set of image data, the image data further including information corresponding to at least one functional portion of a patient; identifying the information corresponding to the at least one functional portion of the patient; and grouping the information corresponding to the at least one functional portion of the patient into a group. In an embodiment, the method is performable substantially automatically. In an embodiment, the method further includes enhancing at least a portion of the group. In an embodiment, the enhancing at least a portion of the group is performable automatically. In an embodiment, the enhancing at least a portion of the group is performable manually. In an embodiment, the enhancing at least a portion of the group includes at least one of: applying a look up table; applying a window level; applying an algorithm; and applying a filter.

Certain embodiments present a system for generating a medical teaching file message. An image identifier labels medical images based upon information pertaining to user interaction with the image. The system also provides an image search engine that scans and indexes images within a database based on a set of rules. The image search engine generates a subset of images from a larger group of medical images within a database based upon the rules. The system also includes a supporting data selection engine for accepting a free text search query from an interface. The supporting data selection engine scans medical databases based on the free text search query, and provides the supporting data search results via an interface. A teaching file message is generated either automatically or manually from the subset of images and the supporting data search results for transmission to a teaching file.

One or more of the embodiments of the present invention provide a rules-based system for routing medical reports based on processing report data. Certain embodiments of the invention provide a medical report routing system including a report acquisition component, a language processing component, a routing rule component, and a report transmitting component. The report acquisition component is adapted to receive a medical report. The language processing component adapted to apply natural language processing techniques to the medical report. The routing rule component is adapted to apply at least one routing rule to said medical report

Certain embodiments of the present invention provide a method for radiological imaging including: viewing a study, the study including a series of radiological images interfacing with the study to allow interaction with the radiological images of the study; selecting an image from the series of radiological images to form an event marker; and grouping with the selected image at least one other neighboring image within the series of radiological images to form an event, the event ranging over a plurality of images within the series. In an embodiment, the event includes at least one of: the selected image within the series and at least one subsequent neighboring image; the selected image and at least one previous neighboring image; and the selected image, at least one previous neighboring image, and at least one subsequent neighboring image.

Certain embodiments of the present invention provide systems and methods for detecting septal defects. In an embodiment, the method may include acquiring gated MRI data and heart atlas data. A registration of the gated MRI data and the heart atlas data may be performed as well as a flow-balance measurement. An atrial septal detection and ventricular septal detection may be performed, as well as a septal measurement. A diagnostic report may be generated detailing the location and properties of the septal defects. A physician may utilize the diagnostic report for surgery planning. After surgery, the diagnostic report may be compared with a post-surgery diagnostic report to determine the success of the surgery.

Certain embodiments of the present invention provide for a system for medical diagnosis and tracking. In an embodiment, a medical diagnosis and tracking system includes one or more medical imaging devices adapted to create one or more current images. The medical diagnosis and tracking system also includes a historical images archive adapted to storing the one or more current images and/or one or more historical images. The system also includes a three-dimensional subtraction application adapted to create one or more three-dimensional subtracted images by performing three-dimensional subtraction on the one or more current images and the one or more historical images. The medical diagnosis and tracking system also includes a Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS) workstation adapted to display the one or more three-dimensional subtracted images.

Certain embodiments of the present invention provide a system and method for temporally aligning a plurality of cardiac image sequences. The method includes performing a locally linear embedding algorithm on a first set of cardiac image sequences and on a second set of cardiac image sequences. A graphical representation is created for the first set of cardiac image sequences and the second set of cardiac image sequences. A determination is made whether the first set of cardiac image sequences and the second set of cardiac image sequences were generated from a similar point of view. If a similar point of view is found, the first graphical representation and the second graphical representation are aligned using a minimization function. If a similar point of view is not found, the graphs are aligned with a template and then aligned with each other using the minimization function.

Certain embodiments of the present technology provide systems, methods and computer instructions for computer aided analysis of images. In certain embodiments, for example, such a method includes: isolating a motion area in an image; segmenting the image; utilizing a support vector machine to identify a region of interest in the image; utilizing a graph-cut algorithm to refine the region of interest; and verifying the region of interest. In certain embodiments, for example, such a method further includes: aligning a set of images and/or outputting a set of aligned images sequentially. In certain embodiments, the systems, methods and computer instructions disclosed herein can be used to aid analysis of cardiac images, for example. In certain embodiments, the systems, methods and computer instructions disclosed herein can be used to aid analysis of four dimensional images, for example.
