摘要： A disk cartridge is constituted by a case for holding a disklike medium therein, a slidable shutter, and a coil spring. The case has an upper case and a lower case coupled together. The upper case and the lower case is provided with a hole for inserting a record-playback head and a hole for inserting a driving shaft. The slidable shutter is substantially U-shaped in cross section, and exposes and blocks up the openings. The shutter is formed of a left-side shutter and a right-side shutter. The coil spring is stretched between retaining portions provided to the sliders of the respective left- and right-side shutters in order to urge the left- and right-side shutters in the direction of bringing both shutters close to each other. The left- and right-side shutters are abutted each other to block up the opening by the urging force of the coil spring. The left- and right-side shutters are slid in the direction of parting both shutters from each other against the tensile strength of the coil spring in order to expose the openings.

摘要： A cartridge receiving casing capable of permitting a cartridge to be readily removed from the casing by one hand as required while preventing the cartridge from accidentally falling off from the casing. The casing includes a casing body formed so as to be open on one side thereof to provide the casing with an opening through which a cartridge is inserted into and taken out of the casing and a cover slidably arranged on the casing body. The cartridge is engaged with first projections of stoppers at a received position, to thereby be elastically supported in the casing. When the cover is slid to an intermediate position toward the opening, the cartridge is partially exposed through the opening and elastically supported while being drawable out of the casing. Further sliding of the cover permits the cartridge to be removed from the casing.

摘要： A disc cartridge includes a cartridge main body composed of a lower shell, in which a first opening that enables disc access for a disc-like recording medium in a housed state is formed, and an upper shell, a disc tray that is rotatably provided inside the cartridge main body and formed so that the recording medium can be mounted thereon, and a single shutter member disposed between the lower shell and the disc tray. A second opening, which enables disc access for the recording medium when the second opening overlaps the first opening in a thickness direction of the disc cartridge, is formed in the disc tray. The disc tray closes part of the first opening in a restricted state where the disc access is restricted, and is capable of opening the part of the first opening in a disc access state by being rotated inside the cartridge main body and causing the shutter member to slide. The shutter member closes another part of the first opening in the restricted state so as to close the first opening in concert with the disc tray, and in the disc access state the shutter member is caused to slide by the disc tray so as to be capable of opening the other part of the first opening.

The respective hubs include respective drums for winding a tape-shaped medium thereon and respective cylinders with respective driving shaft insertion bores for accepting respective driving shafts of a recording/reproducing device. The hubs are rotatably supported in the a casing having upper and lower halves. The casing has driving shaft insertion holes formed therein so as to accept the respective driving shafts. The cartridge includes a slider for slidably covering the respective driving shaft insertion holes and a hub brake engageable with the respective hubs. The respective hubs have teeth provided on respective upper portions thereof so as to be engageable with the hub brake. Recesses are formed between the respective drums and the respective inner cylinders so as to have respective upper ends thereof opened. The respective drums have respective outer peripheral surfaces between adjoining teeth conformed to inner peripheral surfaces of the respective recesses. The respective teeth have a portion extending into the respective recesses.

摘要： A storage case includes a main body and a cover member so supported by rotary spindles as to be rotatable with respect to the main body and rotatable between an opening position and a closing position. The cover member includes cartridge holding members, formed on right and left sides thereof, for holding and integrally rotating a cartridge inserted into between the main body and the cover member when the cover member rotates to the opening position. When the cover member is closed, an opening, which permits an insertion of a mini disk from outside, is formed between the main body and the cover member. The cover member is opened, whereby the mini disk encased in the storage case also rotates, and hence, even when an index card is disposed between, e.g., the mini disk and the main body, the index card can be taken out without pulling out the mini disk.

During non-use of a tape cassette, a lock member prevents a reel brake member urged by elastic force so as to be engaged with tape reels from being moved in a lock release direction due to shock.
