摘要： There is disclosed an apparatus for obtaining image signal by tonal processing of an input signal. Pulse-width modulation of the input signal is achieved thorugh comparison with a second signal of a predetermined shaped, for example a triangular signal. In order to avoid the influence of fluctuating factors in pulse-width modulation, the apparatus also has a third signal generator, and the pulse-width modulated signal or a pattern signal generated by the third signal generator is selectively used for image formation.

摘要： A reactive polymer having the degree of polymerization in the range of 5 to 3,000, with 60 mole % or more of the whole constituent units comprising the constituent units expressed by formula (I) ##STR1## wherein Z indicates a hydrogen atom or a univalent cation; m is an integer 1 to 4:and has an active group expressed by formula (II) at the carboxyl end of the main chain ##STR2## wherein X indicates a hydrogen atom or a group which can form an active disulfide linkage together with a neighboring sulfur atom; W is a divalent organic group; and R.sub.1 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms.Since this reactive polymer can bind to cytotoxic substances, which contain an amino group or imino group in the molecule by way of the carboxyl group of the side chain and it also can bind to, for instance, antitumor immunoglobulins by way of an active group (thiol group or active disulfide group) at the end of the main chain, it can be used as a polymer carrier in the preparation of target seeking antitumor drugs.

摘要： [Problems] A disposable cell counting board in which a space formed by a counting board body and an upper plate is fixed in advance, and which does not require assembling by a cell counting worker, and which can be mass-produced at low costs, is provided.[Means for Solving Problems] The cell counting board comprises a main body and a cover plate attached to the main body. The main body comprises a planar lands positioned at a lower position by a predetermined distance with respect to the top face of the other part than the lands, a counting sections provided at the lands, and four projection sections in the vicinity of the lands for positioning and fixing the cover plate above the lands. The cover plate has engagement holes formed at locations corresponding to the projection sections. A space of the predetermined distance, 0.1 mm, is generated between the top face of the lands and the bottom face of the cover plate, when the cover plate is attached to the main body by engaging each of the projection sections with the corresponding engagement hole.

摘要： An image recording apparatus using a plurality of recording heads that can prevent black lines from occurring at boundaries of each scanning of the recording heads. The total recorded ink volume at the boundaries is positively reduced so that the black lines and the overflow of ink are prevented. The apparatus includes at least a pair of a dark head for discharging relatively dark ink and a light head for discharging relatively light ink, and separates an input image signal into image signals applied to the dark and light heads using at least two tables. The two tables, one for edge nozzles of each recording head and the other for the remaining nozzles, separate the input image signal independently so that the total ink volume discharged from the edge nozzles are limited to a relatively small amount. Further, the total volume of inks discharged from the edge nozzles of the recording heads are positively reduced by performing black abstraction processing, UCR processing and black inking processing on the basis of the image signals after the separation by the tables, which image signals are linearly correspond to the ink volume.
