The process involves melting a base polyamide with a dry blended mixture of dicarboxylic acid and a second polyamide. 摘要： A method of preparing an acid neutralizing polymer powder (ANPP) includes preparing a first reaction product by contacting and reacting virgin polyamide powder material with tert-butoxide in a first aliquot of a polar aprotic solvent and preparing a mixture of an halogenated dialkylalkylamine to a second aliquot of the polar aprotic solvent. ANPP is prepared by mixing the first reaction product and the mixture for a period of time and at a temperature sufficient to produce the ANPP.

摘要： A method for producing highly spherical polymer particles comprising a polyamide having an optical absorber pendent from a backbone of the polyamide (OAMB-polyamide) may comprise: mixing a mixture comprising the OAMB-polyamide, a carrier fluid that is immiscible with the OAMB-polyamide, and optionally an emulsion stabilizer at a temperature greater than a melting point or softening temperature of the OAMB-polyamide and at a shear rate sufficiently high to disperse the OAMB-polyamide in the carrier fluid; and cooling the mixture to below the melting point or softening temperature of the OAMB-polyamide to form particles comprising the OAMB-polyamide and the emulsion stabilizer, when present, associated with an outer surface of the particles.

摘要： The present invention discloses novel calibrants containing between 1 and 5 iodine atoms and methods of making them using linear polymers, hyperbranched polymers, and biological polymers (including but not limited to proteins and peptides.) Methods of using the calibrants are also disclosed, such as mass spectrometry. The novel calibrants disclosed herein have a more cost- and time-efficient synthesis than other calibrants.

摘要： The present invention relates to electrical insulation enamels which contain a polymer comprising a base polymer and modifying units which are incompatible with the base polymer after the polymer has cured and lead to the formation of separate phases at the surface, and to processes for the production thereof. The electrical insulation enamels have a low coefficient of friction and frictional resistance and are preferably suitable for the coating of wires.
