    摘要: A mounting and resonance adjusting bracket is disclosed for use with drums of the type comprising a hollow drum shell, a plurality of lugs, a drum head fitted over at least one end of the shell, and a counterhoop fitted over the drum head and adjustably secured to the lugs. The bracket comprises a steel band to be secured in a position substantially surrounding a drum shell and having a split portion with bent ends movable between an opened position and a closed position and operated by a threaded screw member. The steel band has a soft elastomeric covering along its upper edge and notches along its lower edge sized and spaced to fit over the drum lugs. A substantially U-shaped plate member is adjustably secured on the steel band having elongated slots on opposite ends thereof and threaded members in the slots securing the plate member to the band. A rod shaped bumper member is secured on the plate member for engaging the drum shell. An adjustable mounting block is secured on the plate member for attachment to a drum stand. The band may be installed around the drum shell loosely with the drum head ring resting thereon or may be tightened against the drum shell to modify the resonance of the drum. The band may also be installed around the drum shell outside the tension rods with the counterhoop resting on the band. If the bracket is used with a drum having split lugs, the counterhoop of drum may rest on the band, or the band may be tightened around the lugs, or the band may be positioned loosely below the lugs or tightened against the drum shell to modify resonance of the drum.

The holder can also consist of members that allow a connected drum to move in horizontal position, angle, or height of the drum. A plurality of unique drum connecting members is disclosed that allow the connecting members to connect onto drum tension rods or on a drum lug. A lift assisting mechanism is used to assist in lifts drums from a horizontal to a vertical orientation.

The moveable body is configured to retain tensioned snares a set distance from a snare head of the snare drum. The moveable body houses a second magnet magnetically coupled to the first magnet so as to generate a magnetic force. A manual actuator is coupled to the first magnet. Actuation of the manual actuator alters the magnetic force so as to displace the moveable body relative to the mounted body. The displacement changes the set distance of the tensioned snares from the snare head.

The musical instrument stand is collapsible to fit within or can be carried with the case of the sousaphone or other brass instrument. The speaker stand can be easily collapsed for transportation and storage.

    摘要: The present invention is embodied in a conversion kit for a gas grilling appliance with rotary valves that avoids the need to use either a sleeve inserted in the inner chamber of the regulating plug or interchangeable knobs on the valve shaft. The conversion kit comprises a regulating device for each valve that can be readily installed by removing the existing control knob, placing the regulating device on the valve shaft, and replacing the control knob. The regulating device cooperates with a stop structure on the control panel to limit rotation of the control knob, when converting the grilling appliance from one type of gas to another.

    摘要: A drum gauge is disclosed that provides a measurement of the length of the tension rods. In operation the gauge is compressed, placed around each tension rod and released. A display on the gauge provides a numerical value for the relative exposed length of the tension rod(s). The gauge is then moved to each tension rod to determine the length of each rod or the gap or space between the hoops or between the hoop and the lug casings. A nut on the end of each tension rod is adjusted until all the tension rods are adjusted to the same length. The gauge allows the head to be evenly adjusted so the same pitch exists in all locations on the drum head. The gauge has a lip to ensure it is placed consistently on each tension rod and further includes posts to allow the gauge to be used with drums made with different tension rods, counter hoops, claws and lug casings.
