摘要： A hook line includes a hook portion and a link portion contained in two different planes substantially perpendicular to one another. A projection tip is provided on a distal end of the hook portion to provide secure locking action between adjacent hook links; the normal clearance between the tip and the connected link portion being insufficient to allow coupling/uncoupling action. A tip receiving groove extends substantially laterally across the elongated ring forming the link portion. The ring defines a longitudinal slot for receipt of said hook portion. The groove of one hook link receives the projection tip of an adjacent hook link to allow coupling/uncoupling action. In the preferred embodiment, the groove extends along an arc between a transverse midline of said longitudinal slot and an end of said longitudinal slot opposite said hook portion. The groove and tip structure substantially eliminates uncoupling during normal conveyor operation even when subjected to incidental slackening. The link portion may additionally be provided with a paddle mounting bracket for mounting a reversible/replaceable conveyor paddle and wear shoe.

摘要： A closed loop control apparatus utilizes a cooling effect sensor to measure the cooling capacity of a fluid in a supply conduit connected to one or more thermal loads. The sensor includes an electrical heater that is regulated to heat a sampled portion of the cooling fluid at a known rate, and a temperature sensor positioned downstream of the heater to measure the temperature of the heated fluid and thereby determine the cooling effect or capacity of the fluid. A control signal developed by the temperature sensor is fed back to a flow modulating valve that adjusts the flow of cooling fluid to the thermal loads.

摘要： Metal filament forming apparatus including a casting crucible having a tapping orifice and a casting nozzle for ejecting molten metal from the crucible are described. The casting nozzle is characterized by having an externally replaceable orifice member. The casting nozzle comprises three parts: (1) a nozzle body providing a conduit for the molten metal in association with the tapping orifice; (2) a replaceable orifice member positioned at the lower end of the nozzle body; and (3) retaining means for holding the replaceable orifice member in sealing engagement with the nozzle body. The crucible is preferably provided with a stopper rod to permit discontinuation of metal flow through the nozzle, while holding molten metal in the crucible.

摘要： The present invention provides a lighting system for lighting the interior of an enclosure. The enclosure has at least one movable door or drawer for opening and accessing the interior of the enclosure. The lighting system includes a light assembly with a lower casing and an upper casing. The light assembly also includes a plurality of light emitting diode (LED) mounted within the upper casing, at least one battery mounted within the upper casing, electrical circuitry connecting the plurality of LED's to the battery, a means for mounting the lower casing to a surface, and a electrical receptacle mounted within the lower casing. The lighting system further includes a magnetic switch including an electrical cable or harness. The cable has an electrical plug configured to electrically mate with the receptacle of the lower casing. The magnetic switch has a means for mounting to an interior enclosure surface. The electrical cable or harness allows mounting of the magnetic switch at a location within the enclosure away from the light assembly. The lighting system further includes a magnet having a means for mounting the magnet to the enclosure door. The magnet is positioned in proximity to the magnetic switch when the enclosure door is in a closed position. Upon installation of the lighting system, the plug of the magnetic switch is mated with the electrical receptacle of the lower casing. The battery, magnetic switch, circuitry, and the LED are arranged, mounted, and electrically interconnected within the enclosure. When the enclosure door is opened, the magnet is removed from proximity to magnetic switch, the circuitry connects power from the battery to the plurality of LED's, and the LED's light the enclosure interior.

摘要： An apparatus includes terminals configured to be coupled to a string wiring of a photovoltaic string. The apparatus also includes a power controller configured to control a power provided over the string wiring by a photovoltaic panel in the photovoltaic string. The apparatus further includes a wireless radio configured to at least one of transmit and receive wireless signals using the string wiring as an antenna. The wireless signals contain data associated with the photovoltaic panel and/or the power controller. For example, the wireless radio could be configured to receive a first signal containing a command for the power controller from the string wiring and to provide the command to the power controller. The wireless radio could also be configured to receive an acknowledgement associated with the command from the power controller and to transmit a second signal containing the acknowledgement over the string wiring for wireless transmission.
