    摘要: A rocker joint for a bush chain or roller chain, comprises a bush having a through-passage running along the bush longitudinal axis, a first rocker surface formed in the through-passage, and a pin arranged in the through-passage of the bush and which has a second rocker surface formed thereon. A chain comprises inner and outer chain links, which are offset relative to each other, the inner and outer chain links being connected by rocker joints, each of which comprises a bush and a pin. A friction-reducing joint and a chain with reduced friction and less wear are provided, and thus a reduced CO2 emission of the associated internal combustion engine, the chain being stable and easy to produce. This is achieved in that the bush is configured as a straight circular cylinder in which the through-passage is arranged in the bush eccentrically with respect to the longitudinal axis of the bush.

    摘要: A drive chain is made up of links injection molded of fiber-reinforced nonmetallic material. The chain links feature pivot bearings molded integrally to the links, which take all loads due to drive tension and relieve the connecting pins of all shear stress. The links also have all features for attachment to driven components molded integrally. The moving structural parts are separated by nonmetallic bushings filled with solid lubricating additives to reduce friction and wear. The chain rollers may also incorporate metallic ball bearings to reduce friction drag on guide track.

    摘要: A chain guide (10) secured to an attachment tab (22) of an attachment link (20) of a roller chain (12) is disclosed for stabilizing the roller chain (12) on a chain rail (14). Chain guide (10) is generally symetrical about longitudinal and lateral axes and includes a central, right parallelepiped portion (26) integrally formed intermediate end portions (34) having a cross section of an isosceles triangle. The surfaces (36) of end portions (34) pilot chain guide (10) onto the chain rail (14). The support surfaces (28) of portion (26) slideably abut the face (16) of the chain rail (14). A socket (46) is provided intermediate and parallel to the support surfaces (28) for slideably receiving the attachment link (20). In the most preferred form, chain guide (10) is secured to the attachment tab (22) by detents (56) formed on the sides (48) of socket (46) for a snap interlock with a hole (24) formed in the attachment tab (22).

    摘要: The links (1) of a chain such as a tentering chain are respectively connected to each other by pins (6). In order to secure the pin against rotating and against axial shifting, an end of the pin (6) protruding beyond an outer surface of a lug (2) of the chain link (1) is provided with a radial bore (7) into which one prong (8) of a two pronged spring clip element (9) is inserted. The other prong (10) of the spring clip element (9) partially encircles the protruding end of the pin (6). A shoulder (14) projects from the outer surface of the lug (2) and a groove (13) extends into said shoulder so that a bottom (12) of the groove (13) forms a stop surface perpendicular to the lug plane. One end (15) of the one prong (8) and a transition part (11) between the two prongs (8, 10) rest against the stop surface for securely holding the spring clip element in place.
