Abstract: According to various embodiments, an electronic device comprises a battery, a wireless interface including a coil and configured to wirelessly transmit electric power from the battery via the coil, and at least one processor configured to: perform a wireless charging function of wirelessly transmitting electric power to an external device via the wireless interface, while neither the electronic device nor the external device is being supplied with electric power from an external power source via a wire, and based on identifying that the external device starts being supplied with electric power from an external power source via a wire while performing the wireless charging function, stop performing the wireless charging function of wirelessly transmitting electric power to the external device.

Abstract: A method and an electronic device implementing the method are disclosed. The electronic device may include sensors, a memory and a processor executing instructions stored in the memory to: select at least one sensor of the one or more sensors to detect movement of the electronic device and select a sampling frequency of the selected at least one sensor based on usage state information of the electronic device, detect the movement of the electronic device using the selected at least one sensor at the selected sampling frequency, and when the detected movement corresponds to at least one preset condition of the one or more preset conditions, execute a specific application of the one or more applications associated with the at least one preset condition.

Abstract: An electronic device and a method for resuming a phased platform process in the electronic device includes switching a display that is included in the electronic device from an active state to a sleep state, detecting at least one event which internally occurs in the electronic device or is caused by an external device or a user in the case where the display is in the sleep state, executing a system process if the at least one event is detected, selecting one or more non-system processes related to one or more hardware or software components of the electronic device, respectively, on the basis of at least a part of the detected event, and executing the one or more selected non-system processes by activating the one or more hardware or software components of the electronic device that are related to the one or more selected non-system processes.
