An electronic device and a method of displaying electronic documents linked with link objects therefor are provided. The method includes displaying a first electronic document having at least one link object on the screen of an electronic device, receiving an input signal for selecting a link object, determining the position on the screen at which a second electronic document linked with the selected link object is to be displayed, changing the layout of the first electronic document according to the determined position, and displaying the first electronic document and the second electronic document together on the screen according to the changed layout and the determined position.

A terminal and speech-recognized text edit method edit the text input through writing recognition or speech recognition function efficiently. The text edit method includes displaying at least one letter input through speech recognition; detecting one of touch and speech inputs; analyzing the detected input; and performing a certain operation corresponding to the at least one letter based on the analysis result. The terminal and speech-recognized text edit method are advantageous in editing misrecognized speech-input text efficiently though finger or pen gesture-based or speech recognition-based input.

The present disclosure relates to a method and a system for a translation-based communication service operation. The method includes: establishing a communication service channel between a transmitter-side terminal and a receiver-side terminal; translating at least one of a text of a first language and a voice signal in the first language collected by the transmitter-side terminal into a second language to generate at least one of a translation text of a second language and a translation voice in the second language; and receiving and outputting at least one of the generated translation text in the second language and the translation voice signal in the second language by the receiver-side terminal.
