摘要: A radio base station (104) is described herein that measures a round-trip-time (RTT) which is the time it takes an uplink (UL) control frame (109a) to travel to a radio network controller (102)) and a downlink (DL) control frame (109b) to travel back from the radio network controller (102). If the measured RTT is greater than a predetermined threshold, then the radio base station (104) can correct a problem associated with too long of a RTT by reducing the bit rate of a certain high-speed (HS) user flow or by reducing the maximum bit rate for all of the HS traffic which is going to be sent by the radio network controller (102) over the transport link (106) to the radio base station (104.

摘要: A radio access network node (28) which provides High Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA) comprises one or more priority queues (50i) and a flow controller (60). The priority queue (50) stores data which is to be sent on a High Speed Downlink Shared Channel (HS-DSCH) over an air interface (32) to a mobile terminal (30). The data is received in the priority queue over an interface with a superior node in accordance with a capacity allocation determined by the radio access node. The flow controller (60) measures actual utilization of the capacity allocation for the priority queue and uses the actual utilization of the capacity allocation to adjust the capacity allocation.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for reducing feedback caused by electromagnetic interference between an induction coil and an output transducer, a voltage supply or an amplifier or a combination thereof, the method comprising: producing by means of a filter an equivalent of an electromagnetic feedback path in a system with a pickup coil and subtraction of the equivalent of the feedback signal from the input signal in order to obtain feedback reduction. The invention further relates to a device for implementing the method, the device comprising an induction coil and an output transducer, voltage supply or an amplifier or a combination thereof. The device further comprises filter means for generating an equivalent of an electromagnetic feedgack signal occurring between the induction coil and an output transducer, a voltage supply or an amplifier or a combination thereof and means for subtracting the equivalent from an input signal in order to obtain feedback reduction.

摘要: Methods, systems, and arrangements enable balanced base station transmitter output power levels with respect to a receiving mobile station in a macro-diversity communication by adjusting a base station transmitter output power level responsive to power control command(s) sent by the mobile station and the (current) transmitter output power level of the base station. In a fixed adjustment step embodiment, power level convergence is enabled by adjusting the transmitter output power level of a given base station by a greater amount (e.g., than the nominal amount) when a power control command orders a power adjustment of the transmitter output power level towards a reference level and by adjusting the transmitter output power level by a lesser amount when a power control command orders a power adjustment of the is transmitter output power level away from the reference level. A continuous adjustment step embodiment is also disclosed.

摘要: A phase-locked loop having very fast acquisition, and low output phase jitter and stability at steady-state is provided. In general, the phase-locked loop is used for synchronizing an output signal of said phase-locked loop with an input reference signal. The filter circuit of the phase-locked loop includes a differentiator responsive to the phase difference representing signal from a phase detector in the PLL for providing a differentiated signal, and a filter responsive to both the phase difference representing signal and the differentiated signal to provide a filter output signal. Preferably, the filter is a low-pass filter. The output signal source of the PLL is controlled by a control signal which is generally based on the filter output signal.
