摘要： An image forming device according to an aspect includes: a main body; and a first cartridge configured to accommodate a developer and detachably attached to the main body. The first cartridge includes: a rotation body rotatably provided in the first cartridge; a memory device configured to store information concerning the first cartridge; and a first terminal electrically connected to the memory device. The main body includes: a driver configured to rotate the rotation body; and a second terminal electrically connected to the first terminal. The first terminal is provided at a position where a torque produced by rotation of the rotation body acts in the first cartridge.

摘要： A cartridge includes; a first gear rotatably provided at the casing; a second gear including a toothed portion and a toothless portion; and a storing portion configured to store the second gear. The second gear includes an arm that is flexible and extends substantially along a peripheral direction of the second gear. An inner peripheral surface of the storing portion includes a bulging portion that bulges inward in a radial direction. The bulging portion has a peak portion closest to a rotation center of the second gear. The arm is deflected while the arm contacts the bulging portion. The deflection of the arm is changed from an increasing tendency to a decreasing tendency at the peak portion as a base point. The toothed portion of the second gear is separated from the first gear when the end portion of the arm has crossed over the peak portion.

The developing cartridge includes: a developer carrier including a rotational shaft; a case that rotatably supports the developer carrier, the case being capable of being supported by the developing cartridge receiving member; and a conductive member electrically connected to the rotational shaft of the developer carrier, at least a part of the conductive member is positioned at an opposite side of the case to the developing cartridge receiving member in a substantially vertical direction.

摘要： An image forming apparatus includes: an image carrier that carries an electrostatic latent image thereon; an electrostatic latent image forming unit that forms an electrostatic latent image on a surface of the image carrier; a developing unit having a toner hopper that receives toner, and a contact portion that contacts with a surface of the image carrier, the contact portion being provided to be displaceable relatively along the surface of the image carrier so as to transfer the toner received in the toner hopper to the electrostatic latent image formed by the electrostatic latent image forming unit; and a guide mechanism that supports the developing unit to be displaceable in a predetermined direction so as to bring the contact portion of the developing unit into contact with an upper portion of the image carrier due to a weight of the developing unit.

摘要： A process cartridge includes a photosensitive drum, a gear attachable to an end of the photosensitive drum in a longitudinal direction of the photosensitive drum, a shaft member capable of passing through an inside of the photosensitive drum and the gear so as to extend in the longitudinal direction of the photosensitive drum, and a frame having a pair of shaft supporting portions which supports both end portions of the shaft member at positions outside the photosensitive drum. One of the pair of shaft supporting portions functions as a gear-side supporting portion which is provided on a side where the gear is disposed. The gear includes a first insertion hole, into which the shaft member is inserted, and a projecting portion, which protrudes outward from a side, which is opposite to a side facing the end of the photosensitive drum, of the gear. The gear-side supporting portion of the pair of shaft supporting portions includes a second insertion hole, into which the shaft member is inserted, and a positioning member, which is used to position the projecting portion at a predetermined position and inwardly protrudes from a surface, which faces the photosensitive drum, of the gear-side supporting portion in the longitudinal direction of the photosensitive drum. The positioning member is arranged such that an opening of the first insertion hole and an opening of the second insertion hole overlap each other within a range in which the shaft member can be inserted thereto while the projecting portion is positioned at the predetermined position.
