    摘要: A parallel eccentric electro-mechanical actuator provides motive power and includes an electric prime mover that drives the reducer's pinion gear. This pinion drives minimum three star gears with stationary shaft bearings. Each shaft contains an eccentric which are completely in parallel with each other. These eccentrics can be thought of as parallel/in-phase driven crankshafts. Each eccentric drives the parallel eccentric (PE) gear through a bearing. The PE gear exhibits a circular motion (without rotation) which in itself is unbalanced. The crankshafts have another eccentric which create an opposite inertia force to balance that of the PE gear. The PE gear contains an external toothed gear on its periphery. It meshes with the internal teeth of the output ring gear. The relative motion between the PE gear and the ring gear is that the PE gear rolls inside the ring gear. This relative motion is called hypo-cycloidal motion.

    摘要: A rear end gear box cover for a racing car is formed with a fixed base plate and a removable top plate. The base plate is fixed to the rear end housing by multiple fasteners while the top plate is removable from the base plate. The top plate includes a pair of opposing cam members carrying connector pins for engagement with receiver mounts formed on the base plate. A cam driver on the top plate has a central connector member that when rotated drives a pair of opposing cam pins carried in a slotted opening on the cam members outwardly to force the connector pins into openings in the receiver mounts and secure the top plate to the base plate. A detent mechanism in each of the slotted openings retains the cam members in a locked position. A quarter turn of the connector member retracts the connector pins.

    摘要: A holding structure of an intervening member is provided for preventing the dropping-out of a wobbling-prevention member at an assembly time, and to extend an applicable range of rigidity of the intervening member to a low-side range. The holding structure of the intervening member includes a baffle plate intervened between a torque converter housing wall and an intervening member, and a wobbling-prevention member interposed between the baffle plate and the torque converter housing wall in a compressed state. A bottom portion of a concave portion is clamped between a head portion and a bulging portion of the wobbling-prevention member. Also, an inside of the head portion is hollow, so when the head portion is crushed and deformed, the air inside the head portion is discharged to the outside through an annular gap to reduce a compressive load relative to the baffle plate.
